the

unit

fails

operate

when

plugged

and

turned

suddenly

becomes

com-

pletely inoperative

while

playing (i .e.

one

both

speakers are silent regardless

speaker

switches

and

function

selector

control

position),

the

protection

circuit

probably

activated

due

an overload

condition

such

as shorting by

stranded

speaker wires

the

speaker

terminals.

Once

the

fault

found

and

corrected,

the

protection

circuit

will be

deactivated

by resetting

and

the

unit

will

work.

Caution:

the

does

not

operate,

it becomes inoperative

within

short

time.
