The Chevy SSR is a pleasing blend of two different
automotive era and it combines high tech features with
retro styling. With its retractable metal roof and 50s “fat
fendered” styling it is right in tune with today’s trends. Under
the hood is a powerful V-8 which sends the SSR, Super
Sport Roadster, from zero to 60 mph in just 7 seconds.
When everyone is looking to make their own statement,
the Chevy SSR lets us go all the way. It is based on an
SUV chassis with huge wheels and tires; 19” in the front
and 20” in the back. The all steel retractable roof comes
down with the push of a button and only take 20 seconds.
The Generation III V-8 produces 300 horsepower and
has a really sweet sound any enthusiast will appreciate.
Le Chevy SSR constitue un savant mélange de deux époques
différentes de l’automobile et il combine des caractéristiques de
haute technologie avec un style rétro. Avec son toit rétractable en
métal et son style aux ailes élargies des années 1950 il se place
tout à fait en ligne avec les tendances actuelles. Sous son capot
se trouve un puissant moteur V-8 qui propulse le SSR, Super Sport
Roadster, de 0 à 100 km/h (0-60 mi/h) en seulement 7 secondes.
Alors que tout le monde tente de créer sa marque, le Chevy
SSR nous y amène directement. Il est basé sur un châssis de
VUS avec des pneus et des roues énormes; 48 cm (19 po)
à l’avant et 51 cm (20 po) à l’arrière. Son toit rétractable tout
en acier s’abaisse en seulement 20 secondes en pressant
sur un simple bouton. Son moteur V-8 Génération III produit
300 chevaux avec un son très apprécié par les amateurs.

* Study the assembly drawings.
* Each plastic part is identified by a number.
* In the assembly drawings, some parts will
be marked by a star

to indicate chrome
plated plastic.
* For better paint and decal adhesion,
wash the plastic parts in a mild detergent
solution. Rinse and let air dry.
* Check the fit of each piece before
cementing in place.
* Use only cement for polystyrene plastic.
* Scrape plating and paint from areas to
be cemented.
* Allow paint to dry thoroughly before
handling parts.
* Any unused parts may be discarded.
