My2530 does not release string when I tap it I have to undo the head every few minutes what is wrong?

I bought it brand new, read the manual carefully and assembled it. Starts right up the way the instructions say to. The only thing it sounds like the cutting head whines and gets warm, is that normal?

The cutting head on my Rm2530 will not rotate even though the engine is running just fine, it is brand new

I can’t get the head to come apart to replace the string. Can anyone help me with what I’m doing wrong? I tried turning it counter clockwise like instructions say but will not budge

I had to use a pair of slip-joint pliers to remove the bump knob. My unit is new but tightened itself. It came off easily and I'm good to go.
