Question: We often have power outages in our area. As a result the freezer flashes (in order) [degree C !] then {-2] then [-20]. I have tried many permutations but cannot reset it to its normal display. How do I fix this? I live in a small rural town and cannot easily get a technician out here

I know I'm late to answer, but try holding power + alarm simultaneously. This should reset the freezer. Why the manual doesn't mention this, I don't know... Cheers :)
