John T27-07-2023 Your drum spider is most likely broken, could be due to constant over loading or not perform drum clean as often as you should be. The spider on most front loader are made of cast iron, beside Asko, through out it life span you rarely used hot wash, been that detergent is low acidity, it will slowly but surely start weakening and eating your spider, causing the drum to rub on the outside tub, which causes burning smell, sounds like a tank rolling through your home.
