Question: The makita UD2500 knot shredder switch panel blinks red light, and the shredder does not start, why? Is it a shredder safety switch, the handle rises up, but it doesn't help. The last time used and worked well, now taken from the warehouse and not launch.

If you have removed the front plate to check the cutter, there is a small black button to the top right. That needs to be depressed by the front plate, else it prevents starting
