I now have three defective Pure Siestas. Can't get it open normally to start troubleshooting. I contacted Pure Customer Service with no success. No circuit construction documents will be released. Work at a repair shop, gotta tell people throw the radios in the trash. Will never buy anything from this manufacturer again, sheer junk!!

I bought the Siesta Charge model, which is practically identical to the Siesta Rise, but with the induction charging function on the top of the device. Everything works impeccably except that the sound is very "muffled". There is a lack of treble which makes musical reproduction unpleasant, even in digital reception (DAB +) and speech rendering is less clear than with any radio receiver! It's a disappointment for a brand like PURE ... Maybe my device is defective?
