1 Important
Read this important information leaet carefully before you use the appliance and save it for
future reference.
Warning
Do not immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse
it under the tap.
Before you connect the appliance to the power,
make sure that the voltage indicated on the bottom
of the appliance corresponds to the local power
voltage.
If the power cord, the plug, or other parts are
damaged, do not use the appliance .
If the power cord is damaged, you must have it
replaced by Philips, a service center authorized
by Philips, or similarly qualied persons to avoid a
hazard.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
Before you connect the mixer to the mains, insert
the beaters, or kneading hooks into the mixer.
Before you switch on the appliance, lower the
beaters, or kneading hooks into the ingredients.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the
mains if you leave it unattended and before you
assemble, disassemble and clean it.
Caution
Never use any accessories or parts from other
manufacturers or that Philips does not specically
recommend. If you use such accessories or parts,
your guarantee becomes invalid.
This appliance is intended for household use only.
Do not exceed the quantities and processing time
indicated in the user manual.
Do not process more than one batch without
interruption. Let the appliance cool down for ve
minutes before you continue processing.

2 Introduction

This Philips mixer with a powerful 300W motor gives you perfect end results with the least
effort when kneading, mixing or whisking . Plus added control with 5 dedicated speeds
settings for all your recipes.

4 Using the appliance
Before rst use
Before you use the appliance for the rst time, thoroughly clean the parts that come into
contact with food.

Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth.

Clean the beaters and kneading hooks in warm water with some washing-up liquid or
in a dishwasher.
Strip beaters/kneading hooks (g.2)

Select an appropriate speed, from 1 to 5, to switch on the strip beaters or kneading
hooks. To avoid splashing, start mixing at a low speed, and then switch to a higher speed.

After use, turn the speed selector to 0 (off position), and then unplug the appliance.

Press the Eject button to release the wire/strip beaters or kneading hooks.
5 Recipe
Toscana Bread
Ingredients:
1000g All-purpose our
500 ml water
100 ml oil
1.5 teaspoon salt
1.5 teaspoon sugar
11 g yeast
1.5 teaspoon of dry rosemary
100 g green or black olives
Directions:

Put our, water, oil, salt, sugar and yeast in a bowl.

Mix the ingredients for three minutes using the maximum speed.

Put the dough into the refrigerator for one hour.

Cut the olives into small pieces.

Take the dough out from the refrigerator.

Select the maximum speed to mix the dough for 10 seconds.

Bake the bread in a baking tin at 180C for about 30 minutes
Note
This recipe is extremely heavy for your mixer. Let your mixer cool down for two hours
after preparing this recipe.
