WELCOME TO GANGLAND
Gangland is not your usual real-time strategy game. It’s a game that offers
a totally new gaming style mixing the three genres: real-time strategy
(RTS), role-playing game (RPG), and simulation (SIM), with a large dose of
high paced action. You must move fast in combat and make tactical use of
the environment, use med-kits, reload your guns, and crouch or take cover
with the right timing to stay alive. So, before you start the game, you
should put on your best suit, clean your guns, bake some pizza and then
prepare yourself for some serious mobster action.

GETTING STARTED
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum system requirements
Windows 98 / 98SE / ME / 2000 / XP
Pentium III/Athlon 600 MHz or higher
128MB system RAM (Not shared with video card)
1 Gig free hard drive space
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce or ATI Radeon based graphics cards w/64MB on card
(only 32MB required on video card for single player). (The Intel Extreme onboard graphics
card will work as long as the user has more than 128MB system RAM as that card shares
system memory. Also this is the Intel onboard graphics for newer Intel chipsets, the game will
not work on the Intel 810 onboard graphics used in the older chipsets.)
12X or faster CD-ROM drive
56K modem for Internet play
With the minimum system requirements, the user must set the game detail to lowest settings, and it’s
recommended that the game resolution is lowered to 800x600.

INSTALLATION
To install Gangland, place the Gangland CD in the CD-ROM drive. If your
computer has auto-run capability, the Gangland installer will automatically
appear on your screen. Otherwise, you will have to run the setup.exe file
manually from the root directory of the Gangland CD. Then follow the
instructions of the installer wizard.
LAUNCHING
Make sure the Gangland CD is in the CD-ROM drive. Launch the
game from the start menu or the link on the desktop. Locate
the Starforce (copy protection) 24 alphanumeric digit key-code
which you will find in the Gangland box. When you are
prompted for the Starforce key, enter this and proceed. You
will now be prompted for the ‘serial key’, also located within the
Gangland box, enter this 26 digit set of alphanumeric digits and
click on ‘proceed’. Now the game will start. You will only need to
enter the Starforce key-code and the serial key the first time you
launch the game. If the Proceed button doesn’t high-light after
you have entered the key-code, you should double check you
have entered the correct code.
