How to use the noise canceling headphones
Environmental noises in airplanes, trains, and busses, and noise caused by air-conditioners are
reduced, providing a quieter listening environment. This function allows you to enjoy music without
raising the volume too high, and is, therefore, kinder to your ears.
This unit mainly reduces the annoying low frequency sounds below 1500 Hz. For this reason, sounds
with higher frequency portions, from car horns, telephones and human voices, remain relatively intact.
Inserting the battery
If rechargeable batteries are to be used, rechargeable batteries manufactured by Panasonic are
recommended.
When to change the battery
The battery should be changed when the [OPR] indicator (see below) fades or fails to light. The noise
canceling function becomes less effective as the battery wears down. (If the battery is worn down, or
if a battery isn’t inserted at all, the unit acts like normal headphones.)
Connecting the noise canceling headphones to the unit
Turn the main unit on and adjust its volume. ( page 10)
Separate the controller from mobile phones as noise may occur.
Discontinue use if you experience discomfort with the headphones or any other parts that directly
contact your skin. Continued use may cause rashes or other allergic reactions.

Can I repair scratches on a DVD myself? Verified

Scratches prevent de laser from reading the disc correctly. When the scratches are only superficial it is possible to repair them yourself by polishing the disc with a slightly abrasive compound. Ideally you use a professional abrasive compound but it’s also possible to use regular toothpaste. After polishing the disc it needs to be washed and let to dry. There are specialised businesses that can do this.
