CÓMO SACAR EL FILTRO, LIMPIARLO Y VOLVER A COLOCARLO

Importante: La pava debe estar apagada, desconectada del tomacorriente y totalmente

fria antes de poder sacar o colocar nuevamente el ltro. No emplee demasiada fuerza ya

que esto podría dañar el ltro o la tapa.

1. Vacíe la pava y levante la tapa.

2. Presione la lengüeta de la parte posterior del ltro hacia abajo para liberarla.

PRECAUCIÓN: No toque la malla con los dedos. Ejercer presión sobre la malla

puede dañar el ltro.

3. Para limpiarlo, enjuáguelo con agua del grifo y cepíllelo ligeramente con un cepillo

de cerdas suaves.

4. Para volver a colocar el ltro dentro de la pava, encaje la parte inferior del ltro en

la parte inferior de la boquilla. En seguida, presione la lengüeta de la parte superior

del ltro para encajarla en la boquilla hasta que quede en su posición. El ltro ha

quedado en su lugar. Tire levemente del ltro para asegurarse de que haya

quedado bien colocado.

5. Enjuague la pava con agua limpia y estará lista para usarla.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

1. Los residuos minerales presentes en el agua del grifo pueden ocasionar que

se formen depósitos minerales en la pava eléctrica al usarla con frecuencia.

Para eliminar dichos depósitos, llene la pava con una solución de 3 tazas de

vinagre blanco y 3 tazas de agua. Deje reposar toda la noche.

2. Vacíe la pava eléctrica y deseche la solución de vinagre. Elimine las manchas que

queden en el interior frotándolo con un paño húmedo.

3. Llene la pava eléctrica con agua limpia. Colóquela en la base de alimentación,

hágala hervir y luego deseche el agua. Repita una vez más la operación y la pava

quedará lista para usar.

4. La pava eléctrica no funcionará nuevamente hasta que no se presione hacia abajo

interruptor de encendido/apagado.

5. Saque la pava de la base de alimentación y desconéctela del tomacorriente

antes de limpiar la unidad. No sumerja la pava ni la base de alimentación en agua

ni en ningún otro líquido.

6. La parte exterior de la pava eléctrica puede limpiarse con un paño húmedo.

NOTA: No utilice nunca químicos, estropajos de metal ni limpiadores abrasivos para

limpiar ninguna parte de la pava, incluyendo la base de alimentación.
