Nuvita 1019 Crab Bath Digital Thermometer
Introduction
This product is intended to measure the water temperature, measurable
temperature range: 0-50°C. Accuracy is at +/-1°C within the 25°C to 45°C range.
It has a large digital display and so t is easy to read. It measures the temperature
quickly and accurately. The thermometer has built in alarms and ashes when the
temperature reaches the set value, which is defaulted at 39°C. The product works
with 2 x batteries “LR44”. The batteries are changeable. Remove the batteries if the
device is not going to be used for a long period. Battery life is about one year (if
used one hour everyday). There is also an Auto-O option feature that allows the
device to automatically go into sleep mode after one hour if no button is pressed.
Caution
At rst use, check the water temperature on the
back of the hand or elbow, dipping into the tub.
Never leave your child unattended. Ensure that
an adult in a position to guarantee their safety
supervises the use.
Protect the LCD display shock or pressure.
In the case where the values are not readable
on the LCD, or faded, try replacing the batteries
following the instructions in this manual.
Open the cover and remove old batteries.
When replacing the battery make sure the polarity
indicated is positioned correctly. Replace with two
new LR44(AG13) batteries.

batteries from the device and discard the old batteries in an appropriate
recycle bin.
When not in use, keep the product away from water, so it preserves battery life.
Do not allow metal parts come into contact with each other, as it may cause
short-circuits.

This product is designed for operation in water only when assembled correctly
and completely, as indicated in this instruction manual.
The symbol on this product means that it is an electronic product and following the European
directive 2002/96/EC. The electronic products have to be disposed at your local recycling centre for
safe treatment.

Function
Easy to use and it works with a water sensor. Put into tub directly, the thermometer
responds immediately to the water temperature through the colour changing
backlight display that shows the temperature of the water. The method of
operation is as follows:

Press (Set) again to set low temperature.
Press (Set) again to go back to the setting
mode
The range of high temperature setting is
between: 35°C to 55°C (default at 39°C)
The range of low temperature setting is
between: -20°C to 10°C (default is o)
If “--,-C could be seen on the display this
means that the alarm function is o.
Allows adjusting the preferred values of the temperature or setting the alarm
function on or o.
