Output & Runtime

Power Tips

Upon battery installation, the built-in power indicator will blink to report battery voltage

(accurate to 0.1V). For instance, when battery voltage is measured at 4.2V, the power

indicator will blink 4 times followed by a short pause, then another 2 blinks.

Positioning

With the light turned on, hold down the power button for 3 second turns the light off, which in

turn activates the power indicator to blink once every 2 seconds, this serves to remind users

the location of the LR30. With a fully charged 18650, the LR30 will remain operational for 6

months with the power indicator activated, and 12 months in standby with the power indicator

deactivated.

Precautions

1. DO NOT insert batteries backward, doing so renders the product inoperative.

2. Always use quality batteries, and remove batteries from the product when it will be left

unattended for extensive period.

3. Avoid direct eye exposure

4. DO NOT disassemble, modify the product, it may damage the product and void its product

warranty

5. All modes will be inoperative with the exception of “Low” when battery level drops below

10%.

Replacing Batteries

Batteries should be replaced when output appears to be dim and unresponsive, or when the

power indicator is blinking rapidly.

Warranty Details

Our authorized dealers and distributors are responsible for warranty service. Should any

problem covered under warranty occurs, customers can contact their dealers or distributors in

regards to their warranty claims, as long as the product was purchased from an authorized

dealer or distributor. NITECORE’s Warranty is provided only for products purchased from an

authorized source. This applies to all NITECORE products.

Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local

distributor/dealer within the 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, all defective / malfunctioning

NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge for a period of 60 months (5 years) from

the date of purchase. Beyond 60 months (5 years), a limited warranty applies, covering the

cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of accessories or replacement parts.

The warranty is nullified if the product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed and/or modified

by unauthorized parties, or damaged by batteries leakage.

chart includes the runtime for when

brightness is adjusted from "High" to

Operating Instructions

Battery installation

Insert one 18650 or two CR123/RCR123 batteries with polarities

pointing toward the right direction, as marked inside the battery

compartment.

Note: Upon battery installation, the built-in power indicator will blink

to report battery power, for more information, please refer to the

“Power Tips” section.

Hold down the power button to switch the light on, hold down the button again to switch it off.

Brightness Adjustment

With the light turned on, tap the power button repeatedly to cycle through Low-Mid-High.

Note: The LR30 will automatically lower its output from “High” after 10 minutes to prevent

overheating and extend battery life.

Red Lighting (Red Illumination/Red Flashing/SOS)

With the light turned off, press the power button twice to turn the red LED on, press the power

button to cycle through Red Flashing-SOS-Red Illumination.
