The Wii version of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is played

using the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™ controllers. For more

information, please see p. 13-16.

Black letters are for menu-screen controls and orange letters

are controls for DK’s actions.

Wii Remote

SHAKE THE Wii REMOTE OR NUNCHUK

If you shake the Wii Remote or

Nunchuk, you can perform a sound-

wave attack

. You will also

need to shake the Wii Remote or

Nunchuk when you want to perform

special actions or during boss

battles

*You don’t have to use big movements to shake the Wii Remote or Nunchuk.

*Remember to take breaks when you feel tired.

TILT THE Wii REMOTE

When you’re in a bubble

hold the Wii Remote vertically. If you

tilt the Wii Remote right or left in the

direction you want to go, the bubble

will slowly move in that direction.

You cannot control this game using the Nintendo GameCube™

controller or the DK Bongos controller.

* If a Nunchuk connection error

appears while you are playing,

please reconnect the Nunchuk.

If it continues to appear, the Wii

Remote or the Nunchuk may not

be functioning correctly.

Can I repair scratches on a game disc myself? Verified

Scratches prevent de laser from reading the disc correctly. When the scratches are only superficial it is possible to repair them yourself by polishing the disc with a slightly abrasive compound. Ideally you use a professional abrasive compound but it’s also possible to use regular toothpaste. After polishing the disc it needs to be washed and let to dry. There are specialised businesses that can do this.
