Setting the fan

Press ⁠.

Use the rotary knob to select a setting.

You can select the following settings:

Fan off

Fan setting 1

Fan setting 2

Fan setting 3

Intensive mode 1

Intensive mode 2

Automatic mode

Note:Available depending on extractor hood model.

Setting the hood lighting

You can switch the hood lighting on and off using the

control panel of the hob.

To switch the lighting on, press

To switch the lighting off, touch again.

24.2 Overview of the hood control settings

In the basic settings for your hob, depending on the extractor hood model, you can adjust the behaviour of your ex-

tractor hood depending on whether the hob or individual cooking zones are switched on or off. If you cannot find

these settings for your hob, check the settings of the extractor hood in the HomeConnect app to configure the con-

nection. The display shows this setting only when the appliance has been connected to the extractor hood.

Setting for whether and how the fan switches on

automatically.

Automatic fan start-up

– Switched off. The extractor hood must be

switched on manually, if required.

– Switched on in manual mode. The extractor

hood is switched on at a specified setting when a

cooking zone is switched on.

– Switched on in automatic mode. In auto-

matic mode, the extractor hood switches itself on

when one of the cooking zones is switched on.

Setting for whether and how the fan is to run on

after switching off the hob.

– Fan switches off when the hob is switched off

▶ Do not use cleaning products while the hob is still

hot. This may cause marks on the surface.

or stain remover

Clean the hob after every use to stop cooking residues

from getting burnt on.
