Advice for use and care:
Ensure the scale is on a at, even and rm surface. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces. Always
weigh yourself with the same scale placed on the same surface. Uneven oors may aect the
reading.
The surface of the scale will be slippery if wet. Keep it dry!
Weigh yourself without clothing and footwear, before meals and always at the same time
of day. Keep the scale in a dry place to protect the electronic components. Clean after
use with a lightly damp cloth, do not use solvents or immerse the product in water. Avoid
overloading the scale, otherwise, permanent damage may occur. A user who has any metal
material inserted into his/her body may get dierences in measurement of body fat reading.
Pacemaker users are advised against using this device.
The scale is designed for household use only, not to be used for commercial purposes.
Operating instructions:
1. Put the scale on a hard at surface (avoiding carpets or any soft surfaces).
2. Switch on the scale by a slight tap on the glass platform near the LCD display. Then wait a
few seconds, the following will appear: 0.0 kg.
Note: The scale will not work properly if you step on the scale before it shows 0.0. If this
happens please start from the beginning of step 2.
3. Gently step on the scale. Parallel your feet on the scale without moving and wait whilst
the scale computer weighs.
When you step o the scale, it will automatically switch o. (If no weighing is carried out
while the zero is being displayed, the scale will automatically switch themselves o after
approximately 6 seconds).
When the scale is overloaded (over 180 kg/396 lb), the following will appear on the screen: Err.
When the battery needs replacement, the following will appear on the screen: LO.

Ja, the device can still be safely used. Firstly, remove the oxidizd battery. Never use bare hands to do this. Then clean the battery compartment with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar or lemon juice. Let it dry and insert new batteries.
