Consignes de sécurité importantes

Les consignes suivantes doivent impérativement être respectées lors de l’utilisation d’appareils électri-

ques, afin de se protéger contre les blessures et chocs électriques.

Lisez toutes les notices avant d'utiliser l'appareil!

· Utilisez l’appareil exclusivement pour sécher les cheveux.

· Utilisez le sèche-cheveux exclusivement sur du courant alternatif avec la tension indiquée sur la

plaque signalétique.

· Ne touchez en aucun cas un appareil électrique tombé dans l'eau. Débranchez immédiatement la

prise.

· Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans l’eau et ÉVITEZ aussi impérativement tout contact avec de l’eau ou

tout autre liquide. Qu’il soit allumé ou éteint, tenez l’appareil ÉLOIGNÉ de la baignoire, de la dou-

che, des endroits très humides et des récipients remplis d’eau ! Débranchez la prise secteur après

chaque utilisation car il existe un danger à proximité de l’eau, même lorsque le sèche-cheveux est

éteint.

· Des étincelles peuvent se former au niveau du collecteur du moteur à l’intérieur de l’appareil quand

celui-ci est neuf. Ce phénomène disparaît après une courte période d’utilisation et ne signifie pas

que la sécurité d’utilisation de l’appareil est altérée.

· Si l’appareil tombe par terre et est ensuite défectueux, débranchez d’abord la prise secteur puis

sectionnez ensuite impérativement le cordon d'alimentation pour le rendre inutilisable.

· N’utilisez jamais l’appareil sans le filtre situé à l’arrière.

· Débranchez la prise avant nettoyage ou maintenance de l’appareil.

· Ne laissez pas l’emballage de l’appareil à portée de main des enfants, ceci pouvant s’avérer dange-

reux.

· Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour une utilisation par des personnes (enfants compris) dont les

capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont amoindries ou manquant d’expériences et de

connaissances, sauf si elles sont surveillées ou ont reçu les instructions sur l’utilisation de l’appareil

par une personne responsable de leur sécurité. Les enfants doivent être gardés sous surveillance

pour éviter qu’ils ne jouent avec l’appareil.

· Ne touchez jamais l’appareil avec les mains ou les pieds mouillés.

· N’utilisez jamais l’appareil pieds nus.

· N'utilisez l'appareil que pour l'utilisation conforme décrite dans le mode d'emploi.

Utilisez exclusivement les accessoires recommandés par le fabricant.

· N’utilisez pas l’appareil s’il est défectueux, après qu’il soit tombé par terre ou si le cordon

d’alimentation est endommagé. Éteignez l’appareil en cas de défectuosité et/ou de

dysfonctionnement. Faites effectuer les réparations exclusivement par un SAV autorisé et avec des

pièces d’origine. Les appareils électriques ne doivent être réparés que par des spécialistes ayant

une formation en électrotechnique.

· Faites immédiatement remplacer un cordon d’alimentation endommagé par un SAV autorisé.

· Lorsque vous débranchez l’appareil, ne tirez jamais sur le cordon d’alimentation ou l’appareil.

· Ne portez pas l'appareil à l'aide du câble, ne vous servez pas du câble comme poignée.

· N’enroulez jamais le câble autour de l’appareil.

· Tenez le câble éloigné de surfaces chaudes.

· Ne rangez pas un appareil avec un câble vrillé ou pincé.

· Ne réglez jamais le sèche-cheveux sur une température élevée quand vous utilisez un diffuseur.

Cela peut en effet provoquer des dommages dus à la chaleur aussi bien sur le diffuseur que sur le

sèche-cheveux.

· N'introduisez jamais et ne laissez jamais tomber des objets dans les ouvertures de l'appareil.

· N'utilisez jamais l'appareil dans un environnement dans lequel des aérosols sont utilisés ou dans

lequel de l'oxygène est libéré.

· L'appareil est équipé d'une double isolation et d'un antiparasitage. Il satisfait les exigences de la

directive UE Compatibilité Électromagnétique 2004/108/CE et la directive Basse Tension 2006/95/

CE.

· Le sèche-cheveux est équipé d’une protection contre la surchauffe. En cas de surchauffe, la fonc-

tion chauffe est interrompue et seul de l’air froid est encore soufflé. La chauffe se met en route

automatiquement après refroidissement.

· La mise en place d’un dispositif de protection contrôlé à courant différentiel résiduel (RCD) ayant

un courant de déclenchement n’excédant pas 30 mA est recommandé à titre de mesure de sécurité

supplémentaire dans le circuit électrique de la salle de bain. Votre électricien vous aidera avec plai-

sir.

· Nous ne saurons être tenus pour responsables des dommages consécutifs à une utilisation inap-

propriée ou non-respect de ce mode d’emploi.

Fonctionnement

· Branchez la fiche dans la prise électrique.

· Le sèche-cheveux dispose de 3 niveaux de température et de 2 vitesses de soufflerie qui

permettent 6 niveaux de température/soufflerie grâce à des interrupteurs séparés. La touche froid

(C) peut être utilisée de temps en temps pour fixer la mise en forme.

· Allumez l’appareil à l’aide de l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (E) et choisissez la vitesse de soufflerie

souhaitée.

Interrupteur marche/arrêt, vitesse de soufflerie (E):

'' II '' Vitesse de soufflerie 2 pour un courant d’air plus fort

· Sélectionnez le niveau de température souhaité avec le commutateur D.

Touche froid (Cold Shot) (C) :

En appuyant et en maintenant la touche enfoncée, le sèche-cheveux peut passer rapidement sur air

froid. Pour revenir à la température réglée, il suffit de relâcher la touche.

· Après utilisation, éteignez l'appareil avec l'interrupteur marche / arrêt (E).

TOURMALINE & IONIC

Les ions négatifs ont un effet antistatique tout en protégeant les cheveux. Les ions négatifs referment

la cuticule et permettent d'obtenir un cheveu lisse et soyeux. Ils permettent de retenir l’humidité natu-

relle du cheveu pour une brillance maximale.

Mise en forme à l’aide de la buse

Avec la buse, le courant d’air peut être concentré directement sur la brosse que vous utilisez pour la

mise en forme.

· Mettez la buse en place et appuyez dessus en direction du boîtier (Fig. 1a).

· La buse se retire en la tirant dans le sens de la flèche (Fig. 1b).

Nettoyage et entretien

· Débranchez la prise secteur avant de nettoyer l'appareil.

· Ne plongez pas l'appareil dans l'eau !

· Essuyez l'appareil uniquement avec un chiffon doux, éventuellement légèrement humide.

· Ne pas utiliser d'abrasifs ou de dissolvants !

· Pour conserver la performance de votre sèche-cheveux, nettoyez régulièrement le filtre situé à l’ar-

rière avec une brosse souple.

· Pour cela, procédez comme suit:

· Tournez le filtre vers la gauche (Fig. 2a) et retirez-le.

· Nettoyez le filtre et l’entrée d’air à l’aide d’une brosse souple (Fig. 3).

· Mettez le filtre en place et tournez-le vers la droite jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche (Fig. 2b).

Mise au rebut pays de l’UE

L’appareil ne doit pas être mis au rebut avec les déchets ménagers. Dans le cadre de la

directive UE relative à la mise au rebut d’appareils électriques et électroniques, l’appareil

sera repris gratuitement dans les points de collecte ou déchetteries municipaux. La mise au

rebut conforme protège l’environnement et empêche les impacts possibles sur l’homme et

l’environnement.

Mise au rebut pays extérieurs à l’UE

En fin de vie, veuillez mettre l’appareil au rebut conformément aux dispositions légales et en

veillant à respecter l’environnement.

Garantie

1. Wahl GmbH consent une garantie de 2 ans pour tous vos petits appareils électriques, pour tous les

éléments d’appareil qui ne sont pas soumis à l’usure. Les droits issus de cette garantie s'ajoutent

aux droits légaux et/ou contractuels de garantie revenant au client vis-à-vis de son vendeur.

2. La période de garantie de 2 ans commence à compter de l'achat de l'appareil. La date d’achat

devra être prouvée par la présentation du bon d’achat tel qu’un ticket de caisse, une facture ou tout

autre document semblable.

3. Les défectuosités constatées pendant la période de garantie et qui nous sont communiquées par

écrit dans un délai de trois semaines après leur apparition sont éliminées gratuitement par nos

soins, sous réserve du point 4. Les réparations doivent être effectuées dans notre atelier ou chez

un revendeur autorisé. Le client ne dispose d’aucune revendication passée cette garantie.

4. Les défectuosités dûes à une sollicitation trop importante, une manipulation et un entretien inap-

propriés ainsi qu'au non respect du mode d'emploi ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie. Il est de

même pour les défectuosités qui découlent d’une usure normale des pièces d’usure (par ex. élé-

ments du moteur).

5. L’intervention de services dans le cadre de la garantie ne prolonge en aucun cas sa durée.

6. Les pièces remplacées dans le cadre de réparations sous garantie passent en notre possession.

7. Pour tout recours non autorisé à notre service après-vente, le client devra s’acquitter de tous les

frais encourus.

Importanti avvertenze di sicurezza

Si raccomanda di seguire attentamente le seguenti avvertenze durante l'uso di dispositivi elettrici,

onde garantire la propria sicurezza:

Prima di utilizzare dell’apparecchio, leggere attentamente tutte le istruzioni!

· Utilizzare l'apparecchio esclusivamente per asciugare i capelli.

· Usare l'asciugacapelli esclusivamente con corrente alternata e con la tensione indicata sulla

targhetta dell’apparecchio.

· Non toccare in nessun caso un apparecchio elettrico caduto in acqua. Staccare subito la spina.

· Non immergere l'apparecchio nell'acqua ed EVITARE assolutamente il contatto con l'acqua o con

altri liquidi. TENERE LONTANO l'apparecchio, sia quando è in funzione, sia quando è spento, da

vasche da bagno, docce, luoghi molto umidi e da recipienti pieni d'acqua! Staccare la spina

elettrica dopo ogni utilizzo, poiché la vicinanza dell'acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche quando

l'asciugacapelli è spento.

· All'interno dell'apparecchio, quando questo è ancora nuovo, possono svilupparsi delle

scintille sul collettore del motore. Questo fenomeno scompare dopo un breve periodo di

utilizzo e non è dovuto ad un difetto di funzionamento dell'apparecchio.

· Se l'apparecchio cade a terra e si danneggia, staccare prima di tutto la spina elettrica e

successivamente tagliare assolutamente il cavo di rete per rendere l’apparecchio inutilizzabile.

· Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio se privo del filtro posteriore.

· Prima della pulitura o della manutenzione dell'apparecchio, staccare la spina elettrica.

· Non lasciare la confezione dell'apparecchio in mano a bambini, in quanto può essere fonte di

pericoli.

· Questo apparecchio non è destinato all'impiego da parte di persone con ridotte capacità fisiche,

psichiche o sensoriali (ivi inclusi anche i bambini) o, ancora, che non abbiano esperienza o com-

petenza nell'uso del medesimo; laddove questo accadesse, si raccomanda di fornire loro debita

assistenza o di fare in modo che una persona, responsabile della loro sicurezza, possa istruirle

quanto all'utilizzo dell'apparecchio. Sorvegliare i bambini, onde accertare che non utilizzino l’ap-

parecchio come un giocattolo.

· Non toccare mai l’apparecchio se le mani o i piedi sono bagnati.

· Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio a piedi nudi.

· Impiegare l'apparecchio solo per lo scopo conforme alla destinazione, descritto nelle istruzioni

per l'uso. Utilizzare esclusivamente gli accessori raccomandati dal produttore.

· Non utilizzare l'apparecchio se si è danneggiato dopo essere caduto a terra o se il cavo di rete

è danneggiato. In caso di un difetto e/o di un malfunzionamento, spegnere l'apparecchio. Fare

eseguire le riparazioni esclusivamente in un service center autorizzato e utilizzando di parti di

ricambio originali. Gli apparecchi elettrici devono essere riparati esclusivamente da personale

specializzato con formazione elettrotecnica.

· Far sostituire immediatamente un cavo di rete danneggiato presso un service center autorizzato.

· Non tirare mai il cavo di rete o l'apparecchio stesso per staccare la spina dalla presa di

corrente.

· Non reggere l’apparecchio tenendolo per il cavo, e non usare il cavo come impugnatura.

· Non avvolgere il cavo di rete attorno all'apparecchio.

· Tenere il cavo di rete lontano da superfici calde.

· Conservare l'apparecchio facendo attenzione che il cavo di rete non sia attorcigliato o piegato.

· Quando si utilizza il diffusore, mai regolare l'asciugacapelli su una temperatura alta, altrimenti

possono verificarsi danni sul diffusore o sull'asciugacapelli causati dal surriscaldamento.

· Mai infilare o far cadere oggetti nelle aperture dell'apparecchio.

· Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio in ambienti in cui si fa uso di prodotti aerosol (spray) o nei quali

si liberi ossigeno.

· L’apparecchio è isolato e schermato. Soddisfa i requisiti della direttiva UE in materia di compati-

bilità elettromagnetica 2004/108/CE e la direttiva sulla bassa tensione 2006/95/CE.

· L'asciugacapelli è provvisto di un dispositivo antisurriscaldamento. In caso di surriscaldamento,

il riscaldamento viene interrotto e viene emessa soltanto aria fredda. Dopo il raffreddamento si

riaccende automaticamente il riscaldamento.

· Come ulteriore misura di sicurezza si raccomanda l’installazione, nell'impianto elettrico del

bagno, di un circuito di sicurezza per correnti di guasto (RCD) testato, con una corrente di inter-

vento non superiore a 30mA. Rivolgersi all’elettricista di fiducia.

· Il produttore non risponde dei danni derivanti da un uso improprio o dalla mancata osservanza

delle presenti istruzioni.

Funzionamento

· Collegare la spina alla presa di corrente.

· L’asciugacapelli possiede 3 livelli di temperatura e 2 velocità del flusso d'aria, i quali, tramite

interruttori separati, consentono 6 livelli di temperatura e velocità del flusso d'aria. Nel frattempo

è possibile azionare il tasto per l'aria fredda (C) per fissare l'acconciatura.

· Accendere l'apparecchio mediante l'interruttore On-Off (E) e selezionare la velocità desiderata.

Interruttore On/Off, regolazione di velocità (E):

· Selezionare il livello di temperatura desiderato sull’interruttore D.

Tasto aria fredda (Cold Shot) (C):

Mantenendo premuto il tasto aria fredda, l'asciugacapelli può essere commutato rapidamente al

funzionamento ad aria fredda. Per ritornare alla temperatura impostata basta rilasciare il tasto.

· Dopo l'utilizzo, usare l'interruttore On/Off (E) per spegnere l'apparecchio.

TORMALINA & IONIC

Gli ioni negativi hanno un effetto antistatico e delicato sui capelli. Gli ioni negativi chiudono le

squame dei capelli e fanno sì che la superficie dei capelli sia liscia e setosa. Preservano l’umidità

naturale dei capelli e assicurano la massima lucentezza.

Utilizzo del concentratore d'aria

Grazie al concentratore, l'aria viene convogliata direttamente sulla spazzola usata per l'acconcia-

tura.

· Applicare il concentratore e premerlo in direzione del corpo dell'asciugacapelli (fig. 1a).

· Il concentratore può essere estratto tirandolo nel senso indicato dalla freccia (fig. 1b).

Pulizia e manutenzione

· Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, staccare la spina dalla presa.

· Non immergere l'apparecchio in acqua!

· Pulire l'apparecchio solo con un panno morbido, eventualmente appena umido.

Non usare solventi e abrasivi!

· Per garantire il buon funzionamento dell'asciugacapelli, pulire regolarmente il filtro posteriore con

uno spazzolino morbido e asciutto.

A tale scopo procedere come indicato:

· Ruotare il filtro verso sinistra (fig. 2a) e rimuoverlo.

· Pulire il filtro e la presa d'aria con uno spazzolino morbido (fig. 3).

· Applicare il filtro e ruotarlo verso destra fino a che innesta in posizione (fig. 2b).

Smaltimento nei paesi dell'UE

L’apparecchio non deve essere smaltito con i rifiuti domestici. Nel quadro della direttiva

UE sullo smaltimento di apparecchi elettrici ed elettronici, l'apparecchio viene preso in con-

segna gratuitamente dai punti di raccolta comunali o nel centri di raccolta differenziata dei

materiali riciclabili. Lo smaltimento regolare serve per la protezione ambientale e impedi-

sce possibili effetti dannosi sulle persone e sull'ambiente.

Smaltimento nei paesi fuori dall'UE

Smaltire l'apparecchio dismesso in modo ecologico e nel rispetto delle disposizioni di legge.

Garanzia

1. La ditta Wahl GmbH garantisce i piccoli dispositivi elettronici di propria produzione, per tutti i

componenti non soggetti ad usura, per due anni. I diritti che derivano dalla garanzia di cui sopra,

si aggiungono a quelli normalmente spettanti al cliente ed a lui dovuti da ogni rivenditore, in virtù

di clausole contrattuali e / o disposizioni di legge.

2. Il periodo di due anni previsto dalla garanzia, decorre dal momento della consegna dell'appa-

recchio. Il momento preciso di cui sopra deve essere dimostrato dalla relativa documentazione

d'acquisto: lo scontrino, la fattura, la bolla di consegna o materiale d'appoggio similare.

3. Eventuali vizi o difetti che dovessero palesarsi durante il periodo di copertura della garanzia e

che ci venissero segnalati per iscritto entro tre settimane a decorrere dal momento in cui si sono

presentati, verranno riparati senza alcun costo, sempre che non rientranti nella casistica di cui al

punto 4. Le manovre di riparazione debbono essere eseguite presso il nostro stabilimento o da

un rivenditore da noi autorizzato in tal senso. Non sussistono ulteriori diritti, e quindi rivendicazio-

ni degli stessi da parte dei clienti, derivanti dalla presente garanzia.

4. La garanzia non comprende vizi o difetti che dovessero presentarsi in virtù di un utilizzo impro-

prio e che causi un'eccessiva sollecitazione dell'apparecchio, nonché da manovre di manutenzio-

ne scorrette e dalla mancata osservanza delle istruzioni per l'uso. Quanto sopra vale anche per

vizi o difetti che dovessero scaturire da un normale impiego dell'apparecchio, colpendo, tuttavia,

componenti soggetti ad usura (ad es. componenti di azionamento).

5. Un'eventuale prestazione concessa entro il periodo di garanzia, non comporta alcuna proroga

del medesimo.

6. Eventuali parti sostituite negli apparecchi in virtù di riparazioni eseguite in garanzia, divengono di

nostra proprietà.

7. Eventuali costi dovuti a un ricorso non autorizzato al nostro servizio clienti, sono a carico del

cliente.

Important safety information

For your own protection from injuries and electric shocks, the following information must be observed

when using electrical equipment:

Read all the instructions before using the appliance!

· Only use the appliance to dry hair.

· Only operate the hair dryer with an AC power supply and with the voltage stated on the rating-plate.

· Never touch electrical equipment that has fallen into water. Disconnect from the power supply imme-

diately.

· Do not immerse the appliance in water and AVOID contact with water or other liquids.

When switched either on or off, keep the appliance AWAY FROM bathtubs, showers, areas of high

humidity and water-filled containers. Always disconnect from the power supply after use, since prox-

imity to water can be hazardous, even when the appliance is switched off.

· When the appliance is new, sparking may occur at the collector of the motor inside the

appliance. This phenomenon disappears after a brief operating period and does not indicate that

there is any impairment of the appliance’s operational safety.

· If the appliance falls onto the floor and is subsequently defective, first disconnect from the power

supply and then cut through the mains cable so that the appliance cannot be used.

· Never use the appliance without the rear filter.

· Disconnect from the power supply before cleaning or servicing the appliance.

· Keep the packaging away from children as this is potentially dangerous.

· This appliance is not suitable for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental

disabilities or who do not have the relevant experience or knowledge of using such appliance unless

under the supervision of or after having received instruction in the use of the aplliance by an indi-

vidual who is responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play

with the appliance.

· Never touch the appliance with wet hands or feet.

· Never use the appliance when barefoot.

· Only use the appliance for the proper use as described in the operating instructions.

Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

· Do not use the appliance if it is defective, if it has fallen onto the floor or if the mains cable is dam-

aged. Switch off the appliance if it is defective and/or if there is a malfunction. Repairs may only be

performed at an authorized Service Center using original parts.

· If the mains cable is damaged, it should be replaced immediately at an authorized Service Center.

Only specialists properly trained in the handling of electrotechnical devices may repair electrical

equipment.

· When disconnecting the appliance from the power supply, never pull on the mains cable or on the

appliance itself.

· Do not hold the appliance by the mains cable when carrying it and do not use the mains cable as a

handle.

· Do not wind the mains cable around the appliance.

· Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.

· Make sure that the mains cable is not twisted or kinked when stored.

· When using the diffuser, never set the hair dryer to a high temperature as this could result in the

over-heating of the diffuser or hair dryer.

· Never insert or allow objects to fall into the openings of the appliance.

· Never use the appliance where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is

released.

· The appliance is safety insulated and radio screened. It meets the requirements of EU Directive

2004/108/EC regarding electromagnetic compatibility and EC Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC.

· The hair dryer is fitted with an over-heating protection facility. Should the appliance over-heat, the

heating process is interrupted and only cold air flows out. After the appliance has cooled down, the

heating element will switch on again automatically.

· As an additional safety measure, it is recommended that a tested residual current device (RCD) with

a nominal residual operating current of not more than 30 mA be installed in the bathroom

circuit. Your electrician will be pleased to help you.

· We are not liable for damage caused as a result of improper use or failure to observe these

operating instructions.

Operation

· Connect to the power supply.

· The hair dryer has 3 heat settings and 2 fan settings that, thanks to separate switches, enable a

total of 6 temperature/fan settings. For short periods, the cold-shot button (C) can be used to fix the

hairstyle.

· Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch (E) and set the desired fan setting.

· Select the required temperature setting by using switch D.

Cold Shot (C):

By pressing the button and keeping it depressed, the hairdryer can be switched to cold air for short

periods. To return to the set temperature, simply release the cold-shot button.

· Using the on/off switch (E), switch off the appliance after use.

TOURMALINE & IONIC

Negative ions have an antistatic effect and are gentle to the hair. They close the cuticle layer of the

hair, creating a smooth, silky hair surface and lock in the natural moisture of the hair, thereby creating

the ultimate shine.

Styling with the nozzle

The nozzle can be used to direct the airflow directly onto the brush you are using for styling.

· Position the nozzle and press it onto the housing (Fig. 1a).

· The nozzle can be easily removed simply by pulling it off in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 1b).

Cleaning and general care

· Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.

· Never immerse the appliance in water!

· Only wipe the appliance with a soft or slightly damp cloth.

Never use solvents or scouring agents!

· To maintain the performance of your hair dryer, regularly clean the rear filter with a soft, dry brush.

To do so, proceed as follows:

· Twist the filter anti-clockwise (Fig. 2a) and remove.

· Clean the filter and air inlet with a soft brush (Fig. 3).

· Replace the filter and turn clockwise until it clicks into position (Fig. 2b).

Disposal in EU countries

Do not dispose of the hairdryer with the domestic refuse. As part of the EU Directive govern-

ing the disposal of electric and electronic devices, the device is accepted free of charge by

local waste collection points or recycling centres. Correct disposal will ensure environment

protection and prevent potential harmful impact on people and the environment.

Disposal in non-EU countries

At the end of its service life, please dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly manner in

line with local legislation.

Warranty

1. Wahl GmbH electrical appliances come with a two-year guarantee on all components that are not

subject to wear. In addition to the warranty claims associated with the contract of sale, the rights

arising from this guarantee are granted by the respective seller to the customer.

2. The two-year guarantee commences at the time of delivery of the appliance to the customer. The

date of delivery should be proven by submitting proof of purchase, for example, the sales receipt,

invoice, delivery note or similar document.

3. With the exception of defects covered by section 4, we shall eliminate at no additional cost any

defects that occur during the guarantee period if we are notified in writing within three weeks of their

occurrence . Repairs must be carried out at our factory or by an authorized point of sale. Further

claims of the customer arising from this guarantee shall be excluded.

4. The guarantee shall not cover any defects caused as a result of subjecting the appliance to exces-

sive stress, incorrect use and maintenance, as well as by the failure to observe the operating

instructions. The same shall apply to defects that occur as a result of normal use of wear parts (e.g.

drive components).

5. The guarantee period shall not be extended if services are performed under the terms of the guar-

antee.

6. The parts replaced when carrying out the repairs under warranty shall become our property.

7. If our customer services are called upon without due cause, the costs thus incurred shall be borne

by the customer.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise

Beim Gebrauch von elektrischen Geräten sind zum eigenen Schutz vor Verletzungen und Strom-

schlägen folgende Hinweise unbedingt zu beachten:

Vor Gebrauch des Gerätes alle Anweisungen durchlesen!

· Nutzen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich zum Trocknen von Haaren.

· Den Haartrockner ausschließlich mit Wechselstrom mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen

Spannung betreiben.

· Ein ins Wasser gefallenes Elektrogerät auf keinen Fall berühren.

Sofort den Netzstecker ziehen.

· Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen und Kontakt mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten unbedingt

VERMEIDEN. Das Gerät sowohl im eingeschalteten als auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand von

Badewannen, von Duschen, von Orten mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und von mit Wasser gefüllten

Behältern FERNHALTEN. Nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker ziehen, da die Nähe von

Wasser auch bei ausgeschaltetem Haartrockner eine Gefahr darstellt.

· Am Kollektor des Motors im Geräteinneren kann es im Neuzustand zu Funkenbildung kommen.

Dieses Phänomen verschwindet nach kurzer Betriebszeit und bedeutet keine Beeinträchtigung

der Betriebssicherheit des Gerätes.

· Wenn das Gerät zu Boden gefallen und danach defekt ist, zuerst den Netzstecker ziehen und

dann unbedingt das Netzkabel durchschneiden, um es unbrauchbar zu machen.

· Das Gerät niemals ohne den rückwärtigen Filter benutzen.

· Vor der Gerätereinigung oder Wartung den Netzstecker ziehen.

· Die Geräteverpackung nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen lassen, da hiervon Gefahren

ausgehen können.

· Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den Gebrauch von Personen (einschließlich Kindern) mit verringerten

körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen

bestimmt, es sei denn, sie werden beaufsichtigt oder erhielten eine Anweisung hinsichtlich des

Gebrauches des Gerätes von einer Person, die für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlich ist. Kinder soll-

ten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

· Das Gerät niemals berühren, wenn Hände oder Füße nass sind.

· Das Gerät niemals barfüßig benutzen.

· Das Gerät nur zu dem in der Gebrauchsanweisung beschriebenen, bestimmungsgemäßen

Zweck verwenden. Ausschließlich das vom Hersteller empfohlene Zubehör verwenden.

· Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn es defekt ist, nachdem es zu Boden gefallen ist, oder wenn

das Netzkabel beschädigt ist. Bei einem Defekt und/oder einer Funktionsstörung das Gerät aus-

schalten. Reparaturen ausschließlich von einem autorisierten Service Center unter Verwendung

von Originalteilen durchführen lassen. Elektrogeräte dürfen nur durch elektrotechnisch ausgebil-

dete Fachkräfte repariert werden.

· Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel sofort von einem autorisierten Service Center austauschen lassen.

· Beim Ausstecken des Gerätes niemals am Netzkabel oder am Gerät selbst ziehen.

· Das Gerät zum Tragen nicht am Netzkabel festhalten, und das Kabel nicht als Griff verwenden.

· Das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln.

· Das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen fernhalten.

· Das Gerät nicht mit verdrehtem oder abgeknicktem Netzkabel aufbewahren.

· Niemals beim Benutzen eines Diffusors den Haartrockner auf hohe Temperatur einstellen, da

sonst Überhitzungsschäden am Diffuser oder Haartrockner auftreten können.

· Niemals Gegenstände in die Geräteöffnungen stecken oder fallen lassen.

· Das Gerät niemals in Umgebungen benutzen, in denen Aerosol- (Spray-) Produkte verwendet

werden, oder in denen Sauerstoff freigesetzt wird.

· Das Gerät ist schutzisoliert und funkentstört. Es erfüllt die Anforderungen der EU-Richtlinie

Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit 2004/108/EG und die Niederspannungsrichtlinie 2006/95/EG.

· Der Haartrockner ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet. Im Falle einer Überhitzung wird

die Heizung unterbrochen und es strömt nur noch Kaltluft aus. Nach dem Abkühlen schaltet sich

die Heizung selbsttätig wieder ein.

· Als zusätzliche Sicherheitsmaßnahme wird der Einbau einer geprüften Fehlerstrom-

Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA in den

Badezimmerstromkreis empfohlen. Ihr Elektriker hilft Ihnen gerne weiter.

· Für Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder Zuwiderhandlung gegen diese Anweisungen

wird nicht gehaftet.

Betrieb

· Netzstecker in Steckdose stecken.

· Der Haartrockner besitzt 3 Temperaturstufen und 2 Gebläsestufen, welche durch getrennte

Schalter 6 Temperatur-Gebläse-Stufen ermöglichen. Kurzzeitig kann zur Fixierung des Stylings

die Kalttaste (C) gedrückt werden.

· Schalten Sie das Gerät am Ein-/Ausschalter (E) ein und wählen Sie die gewünschte

Gebläsestufe.

Ein-/Aus-Schalter, Gebläsestufe (E):

'' I '' Gebläsestufe 1, für einen sanften Luftstrom

'' II '' Gebläsestufe 2, für einen starken Luftstrom

· Wählen Sie die gewünschte Temperaturstufe am Schalter D.

Schalter Temperaturstufen (D):

''='' Temperaturstufe 1, für Kaltluft

'' I '' Temperaturstufe 2, für Warmluft

'' II '' Temperaturstufe 3, für heißere Warmluft

Kalttaste (Cold Shot) (C):

Durch Drücken und Festhalten der Kalttaste kann der Haartrockner kurzfristig auf Kaltluft um-

gestellt werden. Um zur eingestellten Temperatur zurückzukehren einfach Kalttaste loslassen.

· Mit dem Ein-/Ausschalter (E) das Gerät nach Gebrauch ausschalten.

TOURMALIN & IONIC

Negative Ionen wirken antistatisch und haarschonend. Negative Ionen schließen die Schuppen-

schicht der Haare und bewirken eine glatte, seidige Haaroberfläche. Sie schließen die natürliche

Feuchtigkeit der Haare ein und sorgen damit für ultimativen Glanz.

Stylen mit Düse

Mit der Düse lässt sich der Luftstrom direkt auf die Bürste konzentrieren, die Sie beim Styling ver-

wenden.

· Düse ansetzen und in Richtung Gehäuse drücken (Abb. 1a).

· Die Düse lässt sich durch Abziehen in Pfeilrichtung entfernen (Abb. 1b).

Reinigung und Pflege

· Vor dem Reinigen des Gerätes den Netzstecker ziehen.

· Das Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen!

· Das Gerät nur mit einem weichen, eventuell leicht feuchten Tuch abwischen.

Keine Lösungs- und Scheuermittel verwenden!

· Zum Erhalt der Leistungsfähigkeit Ihres Haartrockners den rückwärtigen Filter regelmäßig mit

einer weichen, trockenen Bürste reinigen.

Dazu wie folgt vorgehen:

· Filter nach links drehen (Abb. 2a) und abnehmen.

· Filter und Lufteinlass mit einer weichen Bürste reinigen (Abb. 3).

· Filter aufsetzen und nach rechts drehen bis der Filter einrastet (Abb. 2b).

Entsorgung EU-Länder

Das Gerät darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Im Rahmen der EU-Richtlinie

über die Entsorgung von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten wird das Gerät bei den kommu-

nalen Sammelstellen bzw. Wertstoffhöfen kostenlos entgegengenommen. Die ordnungsge-

mäße Entsorgung dient dem Umweltschutz und verhindert mögliche schädliche Aus-

wirkungen auf Mensch und Umwelt.

Entsorgung Nicht-EU-Länder

Das Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer bitte umweltgerecht und den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen

entsprechend entsorgen.

Garantie

1. Die Wahl GmbH gewährt für alle ihre Elektro kleingeräte eine Zwei-Jahres-Garantie auf alle nicht

dem Verschleiß unterliegenden Gerätekomponenten. Die Rechte aus dieser Garantie treten

neben die gesetzlichen und/oder vertraglichen Gewährleistungsansprüche, die dem Kunden

gegenüber seinem jeweiligen Verkäufer zustehen.

2. Die zweijährige Garantiezeit beginnt mit der Übergabe des Gerätes. Der Zeitpunkt der Übergabe

ist durch Vorlage des Kaufbelegs wie Kassenzettel, Rechnung, Lieferschein oder Ähnliches

nachzuweisen.

3. Mängel, die innerhalb der Garantiezeit auftreten und die uns innerhalb von drei Wochen nach

ihrem Auftreten schriftlich angezeigt werden, werden von uns vorbehaltlich Ziff. 4 ohne Kosten-

berechnung beseitigt. Die Reparaturen müssen in unserem Werk oder in einer von uns auto-

risierten Verkaufsstelle ausgeführt werden. Weitergehende Ansprüche des Kunden aus dieser

Garantie bestehen nicht.

4. Mängel, die durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie

durch Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, werden von der Garantie nicht er-

fasst. Das Gleiche gilt für Mängel, die infolge normaler Abnutzung an Verschleißteilen auftreten

(z.B. Antriebskomponenten).

5. Durch die Erbringung von Garantieleistungen tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit ein.

6. Die im Rahmen von Garantiereparaturen ausgetauschten Teile gehen in unser Eigentum über.

7. Bei unberechtigter Inanspruchnahme unseres Kundendienstes gehen die entstandenen Kosten

zu Lasten des Kunden.
