A battery in my device is oxidized, can I still safely use it? Verified
Ja, the device can still be safely used. Firstly, remove the oxidizd battery. Never use bare hands to do this. Then clean the battery compartment with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar or lemon juice. Let it dry and insert new batteries.

This depends on the type of watch. Watches have an indication for this on the back. 3 ATM indicates water resistance up to 30 meters and are splash and rain resistant. Not suitable for swimming. 5 ATM indicates water resistance up to 50 meters and suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Not suitable for diving. 10 ATM indicates water resistance up to 100 meters and suitable for swimming, snorkeling and water sports. Not suitable for diving.
