Innehåll i förpackningen:

1 kg brandsläckare, upphängningsanordning och bruksanvisning.

2 kg brandsläckare, upphängningsanordning och bruksanvisning.

6 kg brandsläckare, upphängningsanordning, slang och bruksanvisning.

Kontrollera nedanstående punkter vid uppackning:

• Att mätaren står i det gröna fältet.

• Att säkringen är monterad och plomberad.

• Att slangen är monterad på 6 kg-brandsläckaren. Om inte, montera dit slangen.

(1 kg- och 2 kg-brandsläckarna är godkända för användning utan slang.)

Användningsområden:

Brandsläckare med ABC-pulver är avsedd för släckning av bränder i olika material:

A. Brand i organiska material såsom trä, textilier, papper m.m.

B. Brand i eldfarliga vätskor såsom bensin, oljor, färg m.m.

C. Gasbränder med propan, butan, metan.

Brandsläckaren är lämplig för bränder i elektriska installationer upp till 1000V och då skall ett säkerhets-

avstånd på minst 1 meter hållas.

Användning vid brand:

1. Dra ut säkerhetssprinten.

2. Sikta mot underkanten av brandhärden.

3. Tryck ned handtaget.

Vid brand i organiska material, t.ex. trä, kan det behövas eftersläckning med vatten så att inte branden

återantänds.

Placering

Brandsläckaren levereras med upphängningsanordning för vägg och bör placeras väl synligt och lättillgängligt.

För montering utomhus eller i kraftigt förorenade miljöer, bör brandsläckaren placeras i för ändamålet lämp-

liga skåp.

Underhåll

Ta för vana att regelbundet kontrollera att trycket i brandsläckaren är inom det gröna området på mätaren

och att plomberingen sitter kvar. Enligt SS 3656, Svensk standard för underhåll och omladdning av brand-

släckare, så skall auktoriserad kontroll ske var 5:e år och fullständig service skall göras var 10:e år.
