OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Installing or removing saw blade (Fig.1&2)
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the machine is switched off and
unplugged before installing or removing the blade.
Always clean out all chips or foreign matter adher-
ing to the blade and/or blade holder. Failure to do so
may cause insufficient tightening of the blade,
resulting in a serious injury.
To install the blade, loosen the bolt on the blade
holder with the hex wrench. With the blade teeth
facing forward, insert the blade into the blade holder
as far as it will go. Make sure that the back edge of the
blade fits into the roller. Then tighten the bolt to secure
the blade.
To remove the blade, follow the installation proce-
dures in reverse.
NOTE:
Occasionally lubricate the roller.
Hex wrench storage (Fig. 3)
When not in use, the hex wrench can be conveniently
stored as shown in Fig. 3.
Dust cover (Fig. 4)
CAUTION:
Always wear safety goggles even when operating the
machine with the dust cover lowered.
Lower the dust cover to prevent chips from flying.
However, when making bevel cuts, raise it all the way.
Switch action (Fig. 5)
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the machine, always check to see
that the switch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the ‘‘OFF’’ position when released.
To start the machine, simply pull the trigger. Release
the trigger to stop. For continuous operation, pull the
trigger and then push in the lock button. To stop the
machine from the locked position, pull the trigger fully,

In general, you can store power tools in a shed or garage, even if it sometimes freezes there. However, it is better for the lifespan of the power tool to store it in a dry place without major temperature fluctuations. In a shed or garage, differences in temperature can cause condensation to form, which can cause rust. In addition, tools that run on batteries last shorter and do not charge as well at very low temperatures. To be sure how your power tool needs to be stored, always thoroughly read the user manual.
