Toasting Bread in Toast Slots

Follow these steps to toast bread in your toaster:

1. Connect the mains plug into the mains socket

2. Remove any protective wrapping from the bread before

placing it in the toaster.

3. Put standard-sized slices of bread into the Toast Slots.

4. Adjust the Browning Control to your desired level of toasting,

ranging from 1 (lightest) to 6 (darkest).

5. Press down the Toasting Lever until it

locks into position, starting the toasting

process immediately.

6. Once the bread has been toasted to the

preset browning level, the Toasting Lever

will automatically pop up, indicating that

your toast is ready to enjoy.

First Time Use

Please be aware that manufacturing residue or oil may be present

in the toaster or its heating element, which can emit an odor

during the rst use. This is normal and will not persist after several

uses. We suggest operating your toaster without bread for three

toasting cycles when using it for the rst time.

Toasting Tips

1. The Toast Slots are designed for toasting standard-

sized 2 bread slices only. Do not toast irregular sized

bread in the Toast Slots. If you are only toasting

a single slice, make sure to adjust the Browning

Control to a lower setting to avoid burning the

toast.

2. To prevent jamming, do not use your toaster with

torn slices of bread. Ensure the size and thickness of

the slices t easily within the Toast Slots.

3. For lighter browning, particularly when toasting a

single slice or dry (stale) bread, adjust the Browning

Control to a lower setting such as 1 or 2. Be aware

that the toasting color for one slice may be darker

than that for two slices at the same level.

4. When the toaster has been used previously, the

toaster elements will be hot, which may cause

subsequent bread slices to brown more quickly

than the initial slices, even if the Browning Control

remains at the same level.

Toasting Operation Notes

• Ensure the toaster is connected to the mains power supply. The

Toasting Lever can only be locked in the downward position

when it is properly connected to the power source.

• For optimum browning, position the bread as centrally as

possible within the Toast Slots.

• Note that the higher the browning level, the higher the chance

of burning the toast.

• Ensure the Crumb Tray is fully inserted before use.

• Avoid toasting bread with extremely runny ingredients such as

butter.

• If needed, press the Cancel Button during toasting process to

stop the operation immediately.

• Always monitor your toaster while it is in use and never leave it

unattended.

If I use my toaster more than once at a time, the bread will burn faster. Why is that? Verified

Most toasters work with a heating element. When the toaster is used for a first time, it needs heat up from room temperature. When directly after that more bread is toasted, the heating element is already hot and the bread is toasted faster.
