Never leave children unattended with the packaging materials. There is a risk of
suffocation from the packaging material. Children frequently underestimate the risks. Keep
children away from the product. This device may be used by children aged 8 years and
older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of
experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use
of the device and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance is not to be carried out by children without
supervision.
Do not operate the product if it is damaged. Do not expose the wall clock to moisture or
direct sunlight. Only use the wall clock indoors. This product does not contain any parts
that can be serviced by the consumer.
Battery safety instructions
WARNING! RISK OF DEATH!
Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children. If
swallowed, seek medical attention immediately! Ingestion can lead to burns, perforation
of soft tissue and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of swallowing.
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable
batteries and do not open them. This can result in overheating, fire hazards or
explosions. Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not
subject batteries/rechargeable batteries to mechanical stress.

RISK OF LEAKAGE FROM
BATTERIES/RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures that may affect batteries/rechargeable
batteries, e.g., radiators/direct sunlight. If batteries/rechargeable batteries leak, avoid
the chemicals coming into contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Rinse any
affected areas immediately with clear water and consult a doctor!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!
Leaking or damaged
batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns if they come into contact
with skin. Therefore, wear suitable protective gloves in such cases. In the event
of leakage from the batteries/rechargeable batteries, remove them from the
product immediately to avoid damage. Only use batteries/rechargeable batteries of the
same type. Do not mix old batteries/rechargeable batteries with new ones! Remove the
batteries/rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a prolonged period.
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT
Only use the specified type of battery/rechargeable battery! Insert batteries
according to the polarity markings (+) and (-) on the battery/rechargeable battery and
the product. Clean the contacts on the battery/rechargeable battery and in the battery
compartment with a dry, lint-free cloth or cotton swab before inserting them! Remove
empty batteries/rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.
Mounting the product safely to the wall
The product is not designed for use in rooms with high humidity (e.g., bathrooms). Before
mounting to the wall, make sure that there are no gas, water or electricity lines at the
drilling location. Use suitable screws and dowels (not included in the package contents).
Be mindful of the wall's condition.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage caused by improper fastening. Make
sure that:
no direct heat sources (e.g., heaters) affect the product;
the product kept away from direct sunlight;
contact with spraying or dripping water is avoided;
the product is not mounted in the immediate vicinity of magnetic fields (e.g.,
loudspeakers);
no foreign bodies can enter the product;
candles and other open flames must be kept away from this product at all times to
prevent the spread of fire.
Starting up the device
Using the correct polarity, insert a 1.5 V AA R6/LR6 battery into the battery
compartment on the back of the device.
