11 De armband aanbrengen

12 Meten

• Als de batterijen geïnstalleerd zijn.

• Druk op de start/stop knop om de meting te starten. Nadat alle onderdelen getoond zijn, zal de

armband opblazen tot een niveau dat voor u geschikt is.

• Als de armband blijft oppompen dient u deze onmiddellijk te verwijderen. Om de meting te

stoppen drukt u op de start/stop knop. De armband zal meteen leeglopen.

• Na de eerste maal oppompen van de armband zal de druk van de armband langzaam

verminderen en als er een polsslag wordt waargenomen zal het hartsymbool gaan knipperen.

• Als de meting afgerond is zullen de systolische druk, de diastolische druk, de hartslag en de

WHO indicator getoond en opgeslagen worden.

• Druk op de start/stop knop om het apparaat uit te zetten, de monitor zal automatisch

uitschakelen na 1 minuut als er geen knop wordt ingedrukt.

13 De opgeslagen waardes oproepen

Na elke meting zullen de systolische en diastolische druk, de polsslag, tijd en datum automatisch

worden opgeslagen.

1. Verwijder horloges, sieraden enz. voordat u de

armband bevestigt.

2. Druk met twee vingers op de slagader aan de

binnenkant van uw linkerarm ongeveer 2,5 cm

boven uw elleboog om vast te stellen waar uw

hartslag het sterkst is.

3. Schuif het uiteinde van de armband dat zich

het verst van de luchtslang bevindt, door de

metalen ring en maak een lus. De gladde stof

moet zich aan de binnenkant van de armband

en het klittenband moet zich aan de buitenkant

van de armband bevinden.

4. Steek uw linkerarm door de lus van de

armband. De onderkant van de armband moet

zich ongeveer 1,5 cm boven de elleboog

bevinden. De armband moet over de slagader

aan de binnenkant van de arm liggen.

5. Trek aan de armband tot de boven- en

onderrand strak tegen uw arm liggen.

6. Als de armband in de juiste positie ligt, maakt

u het klittenband stevig vast. De metalen ring

mag uw huid niet raken.

7. Ontspan heel uw lichaam, vooral het gebied

tussen uw elleboog en vingers. Plaats uw

elleboog op een tafel zodat de armband zich

op dezelfde hoogte bevindt als uw hart. Leun

niet achterover tijdens de meting.
