Do not expose this thermometer to extreme temperatures, i.e. those above 50°C or below 0°C.
Do not use the unit if humidity levels are higher than 85%.
Do not use the unit near strong electromagnetic fields, such as near wireless or cellular phones.
The accuracy of the reading may be disturbed if the forehead is covered with hair, sweat, a head covering or a
scarf. You may hence take the temperature reading behind the ear lobe. (See the corresponding paragraph).
It may be best to place the thermometer in the room for approximately 10 minutes before using it.
Select the “Body mode in order to take the reading of the temperature of the human body. For any other
reading, select the “Surface mode.
Using this thermometer does not replace consulting a physician.
Should you encounter problems with your unit, please contact your sales representative.
Do not try to repair this unit yourself.
This unit is not intended to be used by people, including children, whose physical, sensorial or mental skills are
impaired, or by people who do not have the experience or knowledge, except if they are supervised or given
prior instructions about the usage of this unit by an intermediary responsible for their security. Children should
be supervised at all times to make sure that they do not play with the unit.
Use the Thermometer exclusively for what its intentions are, as described in this manual.
