• Ensure that the parasol is closed in the event of wind. The parasol can become irreparably

damaged if the wind turns it inside out like an umbrella. Furthermore, an open parasol poses

a major hazard since the panel area catches the wind like a sail and could tip over the parasol.

• RISK OF ACCIDENT! A tumbling parasol can pose a hazard and result in personal injury and

material damage.

• A suitable parasol stand or concrete slabs are required for safe use.

• DANGER OF INJURY! Discontinue use of the defective parasol.

INTENDED USE

This parasol is to be used for protection from the sun and is not intended to protect against rain

or wind. You must close the parasol in case of rain or wind.

Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for

damage caused by improper use. Any modification to the product may negatively impact safety,

cause hazards and invalidate the warranty.

Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS

Open the box and remove the product. After unpacking, please check the product for damage

and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent complaints cannot be accepted.

SETUP

Seek a suitable location. The parasol must be on firm ground. Otherwise, it could fall over and

cause damage. We discourage placing the parasol on a meadow. In the worst-case scenario,

heavy rain could soften the ground and the parasol could sink and fall over.

Open and close your parasol using the opening-and-closing mechanism on the parasol.

Opening the parasol:

• Carefully pull the ends of the ribs a bit outwards and fully open the parasol by turning the crank

clockwise.

• During the process, make sure that the parasol can open free of hindrances.

Closing the parasol:

• Fully close it by turning the crank counterclockwise.

• Make sure that the cover does not get jammed between the rib and the pole.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not use cleaners or detergents containing solvents; substances such as bleach can damage

the product. You may find further care instructions on the product.

• Make sure that water-repellent coating is washed off the fabric during washing processes. Your

local dry cleaners will be able to advise you on waterproofing options.

• Remove dirt or dust with a soft brush.

• Close the parasol if it rains. Store your parasol in a dry and well-ventilated area to prevent the

formation of mould and pole spots.

• If your parasol gets wet, please do not leave the parasol in the sun but rather let it dry open in

the shade to prevent fading wherever possible.
