The gas cylinder in my Verksam chair seems to have suddenly given up the ghost (I was sitting at my desk wondering why it was so high - I'm sure it was fine yesterday). I can't find Verksam in the current IKEA website. Do they not make it any longer? Can you get replacement cylinders? The chair is about 9 or 10 years old, but in pristine condition!

I also have a Verksam, they're not made anymore, but you can replace the gas cylinder with a generic replacement, for example https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07123XKLW/ref=pe_3187911_189395841_TE_3p_dp_1. There are videos on YouTube explaining how to switch the cylinders. I did this a year ago and it's been perfect since.

I am in desparate need of a second verksam chair to take into my work office. I have severe neck issues and this seems to be the only chair I can sit comfortably in for a short - medium amount of time. I have seen them come up on eBay but usually without the arm rests. Does anyone know is it possible to fit different kinds of armrests onto the chair? They would need to be adjustable. Thanks

My Verksam chair has the problem of the "seat" tilting forward, and I can't find any knob that will straighten it out so I don't fall out. The fat knob under the seat does not want to move in either direction. And the one on the left adjusts the back of the c hair. Help please

I cannot get the chair to tilt back. I have turned the lever on the left as I fit. It only turn a tiny bit. But it dies not do anything. I also tried turning the big knob at the bottom but not sure I turned it thd right way. I do nog under and the picture on the manual. Help!
