I'm trying to take this bed apart, problem is when I go to unscrew the bits from the bars the screw is staying inside and Im only able to remove the large silver bit. I won't grab the screw. How in the world can I get it apart?

starting with the top bunk,Unscrew All screws at head and foot of bed,removing each pin as you go.then remove the screws from theside rails on each side of the ladder. This reduces the tension on the mesh fabric Allowing just enough slack and wiggle room to separated the Post from the bed frame..you may remove e the smaller rods from their mesh sleeve if you still can't pry the pole and sideboard apart.at this point the all u do is slide the top bunk up and over the poles
