ENTRETIEN DU PRÉFILTRE DE PARTICULES LAVABLE

Le préfiltre de particules constituant la première étape de filtration aide à retenir

les grosses particules en suspension dans l’air qui pénètrent par la grille arrière

de l’appareil. On peut retirer ce préfiltre périodiquement et le secouer pour le

nettoyer. Ou encore, on peut le rincer à la main sous l’eau tiède (Fig. 8). Laisser le

préfiltre sécher complètement avant de le replacer dans l’appareil. S’il faut

remplacer le préfiltre, prière de se référer à la section Service à la clientèle, à la

page suivante.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTREPOSAGE

On recommande de nettoyer le purificateur d’air au moins une fois par mois et avant un entreposage prolongé. Utiliser

uniquement un chiffon sec pour nettoyer les surfaces externes du purificateur d’air. ÉVITER D’UTILISER DE L’EAU, DE LA

CIRE POUR MOBILIER OU TOUT AUTRE PRODUIT CHIMIQUE.

Si on prévoit ne pas utiliser le purificateur d’air pendant plus de 30 jours, il est recommandé :

• Enlever les filtres de type HEPA de l'appareil.

• Envelopper les filtres de type HEPA dans un sac en plastique hermétique.

FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS

Mon purificateur d’air commence à faire du bruit et il expulse moins d’air. Qu’est-ce qui ne va pas?

Les filtres sont peut-être sales. Une grande quantité de contaminants peut boucher les interstices des filtres, ce qui

empêche l’air de passer au travers. Remplacez les filtres.

Pendant combien de temps devrais-je laisser fonctionner mon purificateur d’air?

Pour obtenir un résultat optimal, laissez fonctionner votre purificateur d’air 24 heures par jour. L’efficacité de cet appareil

sera accrue si les portes et les fenêtres sont fermées.

Est-ce que je peux laver les filtres de type HEPA?

Non. Si on lave les filtres de type HEPA, cela les endommagera.
