This appliance is intended for household use only.

w WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is

provided with a grounded (3-prong) plug to reduce the risk

of electric shock� The plug fits only one way into a grounded

outlet� Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by

modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter� If the

plug does not fit into the outlet, have an electrician replace the

outlet�

The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to

reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over

a longer cord� If a longer cord is necessary, an approved

extension cord may be used� The electrical rating of the

extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of

the appliance� The extension cord must be a grounding-type,

3-wire cord� Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord

so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where

it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over�

To avoid an electrical circuit overload, do not use another high-

wattage appliance on the same circuit with this appliance�

This machine is equipped with motor overload protection� If

the motor stops during operation due to overheating, unplug

and allow it to cool down for 15 minutes� Plug machine back in

after 15 minutes to resume normal operation�

23. Never use appliance for a longer period or with a larger

amount of ingredients other than that recommended by

appliance manufacturer�

24. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor as it

can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming�

25. The maximum rating of this unit is based on using the

chopping/mixing blade� Using the slicing/shredding disc

may draw significantly less power�

26. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a

heated oven�

27. Do not use appliance for other than intended use�

28. CAUTION! In order to avoid a hazard due to unattended

resetting of the motor thermal protective device, this

appliance must not be powered through an external switching

device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is

regularly switched on and off by the utility�
