Failuretoobserve the operating instructions when using the product constitutes
incorrect use or wilful misuse and is not permitted.

2. Security
2.1 Correct use
This product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
Do not operate the product continuously, as it is not designed for this.
Use the product only for the intended purpose.
The product is intended only for use insidebuildings.
Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheatingand useitindry rooms only.
Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in
direct sunlight.
Do not use the product in adamp environment and avoid splashingwater.
Do not operate the product outside the power limits specied in thetechnical data.
Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products arenot permitted.
Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
This product is not intended for usebypersons,including children, with limited physical,
sensory or mentalabilities or lacking in experienceorknowledge, unless they are
supervised by aperson responsible for their safetyorhave been instructed on how to
use theproduct.
As with allelectricalproducts, this device should be kept out of the reach of children.
Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children due to the risk of suffocation.
Dispose of packaging material immediately in accordance with the locally applicable
regulations.
Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.

2.2 Basic safety instructions
Please note the following safety instructions in order to use the device safely:
•Check the device beforeuse for any visible external damage. Do not putadamaged
device into operation.
•People who, as aresult oftheir physical, mental or motorcapacities, areunable to
operate the device safely must only use the device under supervisionorafter instruction
by aresponsible person.
•Faulty components must onlybereplaced with original spareparts. Only these parts are
guaranteed to meet the required safety standards.
•Protect the device against moistureand the penetrationofliquids or objects. In the
event of contact with liquid, disconnect the device from the power supply immediately.
Warning -Danger of burns on the housing
Do not touch the housing.
Risk of electricshock
Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomesdamaged.
Do not use the product if the AC adapter,adapter cable or power cable is damaged.
Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leaveany and allservice
work to qualied experts.
3. Installation /Setup
Warning
Only operate the product from asocket that has been approved forthe device. The
socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not
available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
If using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the total power consumption of
allconnected devices does not exceed the power strip's maximum throughput rating.
If you willnot be using the product for aprolonged period, disconnect it from
mains power.
Note
Set the product up on alevel, horizontal and sucientlystableand heat-resistant
surface.
Route allcables so that thereisnorisk of tripping.
Do not bend or crush the cable.
Protect the connecting cable from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
Always pulldirectly on the plug when disconnecting the cable, never on the cable
itself.
The product must onlybeoperated on asupply network as described on the type
plate.
Connect the network cable to aproperly installed and easily accessible network socket.
4. Operation
Note
Always set the correct temperaturefor the laminating pouch thickness being used.
When laminating thicker paper or multiple pages, we recommend using athinner
pouch.
Always wait until one laminating operation is nished beforestarting the next one.
Do not allow the device to run formorethan two hours at atime.
Wait around 15 seconds between two laminating processes.
Laminating pouches of allsizes should be introduced into the centreofthe opening
on the front. Ensurethat the sealed end is introduced rst. (See Fig.2)
4.1 Switching the device on
Move the On/Off switch (5) to the "ON" position to switch the device on.
The Power status LED (7) lights up solid red.
The device now heats up automatically to the temperaturerequired forlaminating
pouches.
