Preparation
Before first use clean the mandoline and all detachable parts carefully (see chapter “Cleaning”).
Unfold the lower leg (4) and upper leg (6) to the outside. The lower leg (4) must get into place with a
hearable “click”. Place the mandoline on a stable, water-resistant and flat surface.
Use
For your safety always use the end-piece holder. Danger of injury!
The reversable removable knife (2) can be pulled out at the side of the mandoline and has a straight and a
serrated blade.
To cut slices / sticks / Julienne insert the knife (2) with straight blade showing upwards. For crinkle and
waffle cuts insert the knife with the serrated blade showing upwards.
Select the type of cut at the control dial (3) by pressing the outer ring towards the mandoline to unlock the
dial and turn it clock-wise.
For waffle patterns, the material to be cut has to be turned one quarter after each cutting process.
Cleaning
Rinse all parts immediately after use. Do not allow any food to dry on.
Make sure that you do not injure yourself at the cutting unit when cleaning the mandoline.
When cleaning or storing the unit, always turn the control dial (3) to the “0” position to prevent accidental
cuts.
Clean all parts of the mandoline in warm soapy water with a soft cloth or sponge and rinse them under the
tab.
Important: Never use scouring or abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids.
Store the article in a clean, dry location that is out of the reach of children.
For ease of cleaning, the mandoline and all parts can be washed in the dishwasher. We recommend
gently cleaning cutting knife with warm running water. Regular washing in the dishwasher may blunt the
blades.
Subject to changes.

When do I use V-blades and when do I use straight blades in my mandoline? Verified

V-blades are perfect for cutting fruits and vegetables that are soft on the inside but harder on the outside, like for example tomatoes and kiwis. The blade prevents the fruit from being squashed. Straight blades perform a similar role as regular kitchen knives and are suited for harder products.
