After the thread was used up, I tried so far unsuccessfully to insert new thread. I asked mechanics at two reputable garden stores to do this job for me, but they couldn't do it either. The manual of the trimmer, in my opinion, indicates an incorrect procedure. Stuck with a useless device after just a few weeks. And it seems I'm not the only one!

I have loosened the wire spool...I clamped it at the bottom with a screwdriver and was then able to loosen the top plate to the left...officially it shouldn't be like that...but I also don't see any other option...that's how it is for me. succeeded regards
