Correcta utilizatión de la encimera

Para conseguir un menor consumo de gas y un

mayor rendimento, es aconsejable emplear ollas de

un diámetro adecuado al quemador a utilizar, evitan-

do que la llama sobresalga del fondo de las mismas

(tabla a derecha).

También es aconsejable que, apenas comience el

líquido a hervir, se reduzca la llama al mínimo

necesario para mantener la ebullición.

Emplear solamente ollas con fondo achatado.

Aconsejamos vigilar especialmente la cocción

con aceites grasos (por ejemplo la preparación

de patatas fritas) ya que éstos pueden arder

como consecuencia de un sobre-

calentamiento.

Para encender el quemador

Encender el quemador antes de colocar las

ollas sobre las rejillas.

1. Para encender un quemador, basta pulsar el mando

de regulación y girarlo hasta la posición de máximo.

Si se interrumpe la alimentación eléctrica, puede

acercar una llama al quemador, empujar el mando

correspondiente y girarlo en el sentido opuesto a

las agujas del reloj hasta la posición de máximo.

2. Cuando la llama está encendida, es necessário

tener el mando empujado durante 5 segundos cerca,

hasta que la válvula de seguridad (Fig. 1 - D)

mantendrá automaticamente la llama encendida y

la regule según las necesidades.

Si después de algunas veces no consigue

encender el quemador, controle que los

casquillos (Fig. 1 - A) y los orificios de donde

salen las llamas (Fig. 1 - B) estén colocados en

su sitio correctamente.

Para cortar el suministro de gas, gire el mando

hacia la derecha hasta alcanzar la posición "z".

Antes de quitar las ollas del fuego, baje la

llama o apáguela.
