Safety during use

Caution! Parts of the extractor

hood may get hot during ope-

ration with cooking equipment.

• Use the extractor hood for the

ventilation of the hob area only.

If the appliance is used incor-

rectly or for any purpose other

than the one intended, the ma-

nufacturer can accept no liabili-

ty for any damage or loss.

• It is forbidden to ﬂambé below

the hood, whether switched off

or on (risk of ﬁre).

• Never operate the extractor

hood without the grease ﬁlter

when cooking.

• Should the appliance be relo-

cated at a later date, the pre-

cise installation instructions can

be ordered by telephone from

our After Sales department.

• Should you sell or pass on the

appliance to any third party,

please ensure that the appli-

ance is handed over complete

with these operating instruction

so that the new owner can ﬁnd

out how the appliance func-

tions.

• If the extractor hood is left un-

attended for any length of time,

such as in the holidays, please

ensure that the appliance is

switched off.

Safety when cleaning

• Clean the grease ﬁlter at regular

intervals; excessive contamina-

tion can lead to a risk of ﬁre.

• Maintain and clean the extrac-

tor hood regularly in order to

avoid expensive service visits.

• Follow the „Cleaning and Main-

tenance“ section when doing

so.

• For safety reasons it is not per-

missible to clean the appliance

with a steam-jet or high-pres-

sure cleaner.

I want to know the age of my Electrolux appliance. How do I do that? Verified

You can determine the age of your product by using the serial number. This can be found on your device. The first character of the serial number indicates a year (ie: 1 = 2001) and the two characters after that indicate the week of production (ie: 35 = week 35 of that year). So the serial number 13500016 indicates that the machine is from week 35 of the year 2001.

Do I need a cooker hood with or without motor? Verified

Cooker Hoods with motor are meant for when the air is moved directly outside. A cooker hood without motor is meant for when there is a central ventilation system. Never connect a cooker hood with motor to a central ventilation system!
