1. This Dyson handheld vacuum and charger are not intended for use by young
children or infirm persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction by a responsible person concerning use of
the handheld vacuum or charger to ensure that they can charge and use the
handheld vacuum safely.
2. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or
near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the handheld vacuum or charger.
3. Do not install, charge or use the Dyson handheld vacuum outdoors, in a
bathroom or within 10 feet of a pool. Do not use the Dyson handheld vacuum
or charger on wet surfaces and do not expose to moisture, rain or snow.
4. Do not use or charge with damaged cable. If the Dyson handheld vacuum
or charger is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and
contact the Dyson customer care helpline.
5. Do not unplug the charger by pulling on cable. To unplug, grasp the charger,
not the cable.
6. Unplug the charger from outlet when not in use for extended periods. Make
sure the charger cable is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over,
or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
7. Do not stretch the charger cable or place the cable under strain. Keep cable
away from heated surfaces.
8. Do not handle the charger, including the charger terminals or Dyson handheld
vacuum with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked;
keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings
and moving parts.
11. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
12. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or
use in areas where they may be present.
13. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes,
matches, or hot ashes.
14. Do not use without clear bin and filter in place.
15. Use only as described in this manual. Use only Dyson recommended
accessories and replacement parts. Do not carry out any maintenance other
than that shown in this manual, or advised by the Dyson customer care
helpline.
16. Do not disassemble the Dyson handheld vacuum or charger, contact the
Dyson Customer Care Helpline when service or repair is required. Incorrect
reassembly may result in an electric shock or fire.
17. Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
18. The use of an extension cable is not recommended.
19. Do not incinerate this Dyson handheld vacuum even if it is severely damaged.
The batteries may explode in a fire.
20. Use only Dyson chargers for charging this handheld vacuum. Use only Dyson
handheld batteries, other types of batteries may burst causing injury to persons
and damage.
21. Do not press the battery release button during normal operation.

2. Cet appareil n’est pas un jouet et ne doit pas être utilisé comme tel. Une attention
particulière est nécessaire lorsque l’appareil est utilisé par ou à proximité
d’enfants. Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas
avec l’aspirateur à main ou le chargeur.
3. Ne pas installer, charger ni utiliser l’aspirateur à main Dyson à lextérieur,
dans une salle de bains ou à moins de 3 mètres d’une piscine. Ne pas utiliser
l’aspirateur à main ou le chargeur Dyson sur des surfaces mouillées et ne pas
exposer l’appareil à l’humidité, à la pluie ou à la neige.
4. Ne pas utiliser ni charger si le câble est endommagé. Ne pas utiliser l’aspirateur
à main ou le chargeur Dyson s’ils ne fonctionnent pas correctement, s’ils ont reçu

Dyson.
5. Ne pas débrancher en tirant sur le câble d’alimentation. Pour débrancher, saisir le
chargeur, pas le câble.
6. Lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé sur une période prolongée, débrancher le
chargeur de la prise. S’assurer que le câble du chargeur est placé de telle sorte
que personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher dessus, ni l’endommager ou le
soumettre à des contraintes.
7. Ne pas tendre le câble du chargeur ni le soumettre à des contraintes. Maintenir le
câble à distance des surfaces chauffées.
8. Ne pas manipuler le chargeur (y compris ses terminaux) ni l’aspirateur à main
Dyson avec des mains mouillées.
9. Ne pas mettre d’objets dans les ouvertures de l’appareil. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil
en cas d’obstruction d’une ouverture. S’assurer que rien ne réduit le flux d’air :
poussières, peluches, cheveux ou autre.
10. Éloigner les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et toutes les parties du
