MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning! When cleaning, never immerse the device in water or spray it with water!
Clean the outside cover of the device with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned surfaces
with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the device dr y completely
before re-using or storing it.
To disinfect the sensor of the clinical digital thermometer, use a small piece of cotton-wool slightly immersed
in ethyl alcohol. Take care that alcohol does not come into contact with the plastic cover.
Never use solvents (acetone, benzene, petrol etc.) to clean the device because these materials could dissolve
the plastic cover and damage the internal components. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Before using the device again or putting it into storage, dry it out completely.
Storage of the clinical digital thermometer
Please keep the device in its box when it is not in use, this way you can protect it against possible damage
during storage.
If you do not use the device for a longer period of time (more than 1 month) then please remove the batteries
from the battery holder. If you do not do this, corrosive chemicals may escape from the batteries and damage
the device.
