Can I store power tools in a shed or garage? Verified

In general, you can store power tools in a shed or garage, even if it sometimes freezes there. However, it is better for the lifespan of the power tool to store it in a dry place without major temperature fluctuations. In a shed or garage, differences in temperature can cause condensation to form, which can cause rust. In addition, tools that run on batteries last shorter and do not charge as well at very low temperatures. To be sure how your power tool needs to be stored, always thoroughly read the user manual.

ELU MOF69-2HANDOVERFRESH: Started to make a lot of noise and "Nods" and walks away. Could it be the brushes that need to be replaced? Is it difficult to do it yourself?

Hi there.! I purchased an Elu MOF 96 many years ago long before Dewalt came on the scene. I would describe myself as an enthiastic amatuer. Re MOF 96 I have just replaced the two bearings as the top one had disintegrated completely. I have one comment to make about this router, I have always found fixing the router bit a bit of a hassle. I suspect the thread on the nut component may be damaged. Can anyone tell me the thread used, Many thanks PS. When was the MOF 96 first produced ?.
