Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before servicing.
Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Not intended for use by children age 12 and under. Close

Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attach

Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has
been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service
center for inspection. Call 1-800-321-1134 for the nearest service center.
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not place product on cord. Do not run appliance
over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. To avoid personal injury or damage, and to
prevent cleaning from falling, always place cleaner at bottom of stairs or on floor.
Do not place cleaner on stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury or damage.
Look on your vacuum cleaner and follow all label and marking instructions.
Do not use an extension cord with this cleaner.
Keep end of hose, wands and other openings away from your face and body. Keep
your hands, feet, hair and clothing away from moving parts.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner without dirt container and/or filter in place.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or fine
wood sandings or use in areas where they may be present.
Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to prevent

To the consumer, Royal Appliance Mfg. Co. warrants this vacuum cleaner to be free of defects in material or workmanship
commencing upon the date of the original purchase. Refer to your vacuum cleaner carton for the length of warranty and
save your original sales receipt to validate start of warranty period.
If the vacuum cleaner should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective parts free

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
An internal thermal protector has been designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheat-
ing. When the thermal protector activates the cleaner will stop running. If this happens proceed
as follows:
1. Turn cleaner OFF and disconnect it from the electrical outlet.
2. Inspect the nozzle and bag inlet openings for any obstructions. Clear obstructions if
present.
3. When cleaner is unplugged and motor cools for 30 minutes, the thermal
protector will deactivate and cleaning may continue.
If the thermal protector continues to activate after following the above steps, your cleaner may
need servicing.

1. The hose can be used alone or with many combinations of wands and tools.
2. To store attachments on the unit, simply lock them into the tool storage area
located beneath the handle grip.
3. To remove the tool, pull apart gently. To unlock the wand, rotate and then pull apart.
NOTE:Please follow these instructions for attaching all other accessories.

AVERTISSEMENT:
Afin de réduire les risques de décharge électrique, cet appareil est muni d’une fiche polarisée
(une tige est plus large que l’autre). Cette fiche ne peut être insérée dans une prise de courant
polarisée que dans un sens. Si la fiche ne s’insère pas comptement dans la prise, inversez-la.
Si elle ne s’inre toujours pas, demandez à un électricien qualifié d’installer la prise appropriée.
Ne modifiez jamais la fiche.
Un protecteur thermique interne protège l’appareil d’une surchauffe. Lorsque le protecteur
thermique est activé, l’appareil s’arrête. Si cela se produit, procéder comme suit :
1. Éteindre l’appareil et le débrancher.
2. Vérifier que le suceur et les entrées de poussière du sac ne sont pas obstrués, et
les dégager s’il y a lieu.
3. Lorsque l’appareil est débranché et que le moteur a refroidi pendant 30 minutes, le
protecteur thermique est automatiquement réinitialisé, et l’appareil peut de nouveau être utilisé.
Si le protecteur thermique reste activé une fois que l’utilisateur a suivi les étapes ci dessus, il
se peut que l’appareil ait besoin d’un entretien.
