This ice maker is freestanding design. You must leave sufficient room on all four sides in order

for the ice maker to exhaust properly. If heat is not allowed to exhaust properly, the ice maker

will not operate efficiently. Moreover, due to the design of thermoelectric units, they should not

be placed in a warm room. Typically it will cool anywhere between units, they should not be

or explosion.
