Installation

Suggestion for installation

• Thecompressor used to drive thetool must be able to maintain aworking pressure of at least

4 bar for thetool to work properly.

• Use quick-couplings to easily disconnect thetool and hose from thecompressor.

• Make sure that theconnected tool and hoses do not have alower capacity than

thecompressor and that they are correctly ﬁtted.

• If apressure regulator is used it must be able to be set for aworking pressure of 4–7 bar.

Lubrication

Note: Lubricate thetool with afew drops of oil in theair-line connection before using thetool for

theﬁrst time.

1. Disconnect thecompressed air from

thenail gun.

2. Put 4–5 drops of oil in theair inlet.

Note: Do not use ordinary motor oil as

it contains additives that will damage

thetool. Oil for lubricating apneumatic

tool is available commercially.

3. Wipe away any oil that may come out of

theair inlet when beginning to

use thetool.

Function and safety checks

1. Disconnect thecompressed air from thenail gun.

2. Remove any nails from themagazine.

3. Make sure that thesafety lock moves freely up and down by pressing thetool against awork surface.

4. Connect to thecompressed air.

5. Press thetool against thework surface. Thetool must not ﬁre.

6. Take thetool away from thework surface, and make sure thesafety lock returns to its

position. Press thetrigger in. Thetool must not ﬁre.

7. Press thetool against thework surface, press thetrigger. Thetool should ﬁre.
