Getting started
Insert batteries
Weather station (receiver)
Remove the battery cover by pushing it outwards in
direction of the arrow and insert 3 AA/LR6-batteries.
Make sure you insert the batteries with correct
polarity (+/-) as marked in the battery compartment.
Sensor
Remove battery by pushing it downward in direc-
tion of arrow and insert 2 AA/LR6-batteries. Ensure
batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+/-) as
marked in battery compartment.
Replacing batteries
If the batteries are exposed to very low or very high
temperatures for a prolonged period of time they can
become less effective, which will reduce the range
between sensor and receiver.
When the display luminance has weakened it is
time to replace the batteries in the receiver.
If the symbol for a weak battery appears in the dis-
play it is time to change the batteries in the sensor.
Synchronisation of weather station
and sensor
The accompanying outdoor sensor is preset to the
weather station’s channel 1 (CH 1). This setting cannot
be changed. Press + / CHANNEL one or more times
on the weather station to select channel 1 (CH1).
As soon as you insert the batteries, the synchroni-
sation of sensor and receiver starts automatically.
Therefore place the units near to one another to
ensure that synchronisation succeeds (If the outdoor
temperature appears on the display synchronisation
has succeeded). Next place the sensor and receiver
in these potential locations within functional range.
NOTE! The sensor can be placed a max. of
30 meters from the receiver when the view is
unobstructed. However, the location of the units
relative to various obstacles as well as the building
material used in walls can affect the range in various
ways. Experiment to find the best location.
The weather station
display is designed to
be best viewed at a
60-degree angle as in the
Figure. Hence the display
may appear dim when
viewed from straight on.

All of a sudden, my weather station has started beeping every 5 minutes and that's not the alarm. A sign appears in the left corner when it beeps. Have reset but it does not help.

Carefully open the weather station so that the cables do not come loose. Carefully disconnect the round black sound sensor. Throw. Reassemble the weather station. You can not have an alarm function now, but otherwise it works!

It happened to us now, too, after many years. I took the batteries out of both the weather station and transmitter and left them without power overnight. When I connected them again in the morning, the beeping sound was gone :)

My weather station prediced it would rain, but this didn't happen. Why is that? Verified

The prediction on the weather station is based on air pressure. In general low pressure means bad weather and high pressure means good weather. It's possible the weather pattern develops differently than the air pressure predicts.

What is the best location for a weather station and its sensors? Verified

The weather station itself is placed inside and needs to be kept away from heat sources such as the kitchen, windows or electrical appliances. A separate outside temperature sensor needs to placed in shadow and at least 1,25m above the ground. A rain sensor needs to be placed in an open area where it can always collect rain. A wind sensor needs to be placed in an open area too, with any obstacles influencing the wind.

My weather station has a rain gauge, can it also measure the amount of snowfall? Verified

Some rain gauges are equipped with a heating element, making the snow melt and allowing it to be measured. Without heating element the rain gauge will clog and no measurement can be performed.
