CLEANING
Always pull out the plug from the socket before cleaning!
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, with a slightly damp cloth without additives.
The interior can be cleaned by following these steps:
1. Slice one lemon in thin slices or use 1 dl freshly pressed lemon juice.
2. Mix lemon and water in the kettle to the MAX mark and turn on the kettle.
3. Pour out lemon/water mix and then rinse with cold water.
DESCALING
You can use descaling agent, or follow these steps for cleaning without chemicals:
1. Use 1 dl vinegar or 2dl vinegar essence.
2. Fill up to 1 liter mark with water.
3. Turn on the kettle.
4. When the kettle is done, ll water to MAX mark (keep the vinegar/water mix in the kettle)
5. Turn on the kettle.
6. When the kettle is done, please let the solution stand for a couple of hours.
7. Pour out the vinegar/water mix then rinse the kettle with water a couple of times.
8. Repeat if you are not happy with the results. When satised go to next step.
9. Fill to MAX with water and boil the water. Repeat a couple of times if the vinegar smell is present.
NOTE
The frequency of the decalcifying depends on the hardness of the water and on how often the
appliance is used.
If the kettle switches off before the water boils, it probably needs to be decalcied.
If the kettle is taking longer time to boil water, it probably needs to be decalcied.
Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance. These can be injurious to your
health. Use solely a vinegar solution, or special descaling agents available from retailerss.

structions from Champion Nordic, cases in which the product has been modied or subjected to unauthorized
repair, improper packaging on the part of the owner, normal wear and tear, or improper handling on the part of
a transport company.
WATER TEMPERATURE GAUGE
The water temperature gauge constantly shows you the temperature of the water inside the kettle.
Use the gauge when you are making drinks that require different water temperatures like green
teas, white teas, coffee, etc. The gauge will not work if there is insufcient water in the kettle (less
than the minimum level).
