RENGØRING

• Træk altid stikket ud af stikkontakten før rengøring!

• Den udvendige skal på apparatet skal rengøres med en let fugtig klud udenrengøringsmidler.

• Indersiden kan rengøres ved at følge disse trin

1. Skær 1 citronen i tynde skiver, eller brug 1 dl friskpresset citronsaft.

2. Bland citron og vand i elkedlen op til MAX-markeringen, tænd for elkedlen.

3. Hæld citron/vand-blandingen ud, og skyl efter med koldt vand.

AFKALKNING

Til afkalkning af elkedlen kan der bruges afkalkningsmiddel, ligesom man kan følge disse trin til

rengøring uden kemikalier.

1. Brug 1 dl eddike eller 2 dl eddikeessens.

2. Fyld vand i op til 1 liters-markeringen.

3. Tænd for elkedlen.

4. Når elkedlen er færdig, fyldes der vand op til MAX-markeringen (behold eddike/vand-blandingen).

5. Tænd for elkedlen.

6. Når vandet er kogt færdigt, skal opløsningen stå i et par timer.

7. Hæld eddike/vand-blandingen ud, og skyl elkedlen med vand et par gange.

8. Gentag processen, hvis resultatet ikke er tilfredsstillende. Gå videre til næste trin, når resultatet

er tilfredsstillende.

9. Fyld vand op til MAX-markeringen, og kog vandet. Dette kan gentages et par gange, hvis lugten

og smagen af eddike stadig er der.

BEMÆRK

• Hyppigheden af afkalkningen afhænger af vandets hårdhed og af, hvor ofte apparatet bruges.

• Hvis elkedlen slukker, før vandet koger, er det sandsynligvis tid til at afkalke den.

• Hvis elkedlen er længere tid om at koge vandet, er det sandsynligvis tid til at afkalke den.

• Brug aldrig ammoniak eller andre produkter til at afkalke apparatet. Det kan være skadeligt

for helbredet. Brug udelukkende en eddikeopløsning eller specielle afkalkningsmidler, der kan

købesi detailhandlen.

VANDTEMPERATURMÅLER

Vandtemperaturmåleren viser dig den konstante temperatur på vandet inde i elkedlen. Brug måle-

ren, når du laver drikkevarer, der kræver forskellige vandtemperaturer såsom grøn te, hvid te, kaffe

osv. Måleren fungerer ikke, hvis der ikke er nok vand i elkedlen (mindre end minimumsniveauet).

Is it efficient to fill a kettle with hot water from the faucet? Verified

No. To get warm water to the faucet it is often needed to let cold water out first, which will be wasted. Also, the pipes will fill the same amount of hot water which will not be used and will cool, which leads to energy loss. Therefor it is better to fill a kettle with cold water.
