IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surface. Use hand les or knobs.
3. To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs in water or others.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking
off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause
injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
10. Always attach plug to appliance rst, then plug cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any
control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
11. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
12. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remo
te-control system.
13. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Before using
• Prior to using your chocolate melter, wipe the ceramic mixing pot, the lid, the chocolate bowls and
the dipping forks with a damp cloth and let dry.
How to operate
1. Before starting, nd a stable surface near an electrical outlet.
2. Plug the unit in. The red power light on the front of the unit will illuminate.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of oil (vegetable oil is recommended).
4. Add 11/2 cups of chocolate chips or pieces of chocolate (ll to 3/4 of ceramic: pot) and stir.
5. Place the Lid on the unit and allow chocolate to melt for about 5 minutes.
6. Remove Lid and stir. Continue checking and stirring the chocolate continuously.
7. lf necessary, add more oil. For best consistency, it is recommended to add a tablespoon of oil
at a time.
