What should I keep in mind when I put my caravan into winter storage? Verified

Make sure that all water is removed from boilers, tanks and toilets. It is also wise to remove the battery. Store this in a warm place and use a trickle charger to keep it charged. Tire pressure can decrease due to the cold, making it a good idea to icrease pressure with 0,5 bar before storage. It might also be a good idea to place a moisture absorber in the caravan during storage.

How long can a caravan stand outside? Verified

A caravan is made to be outside and can therefore be left outside. However, when the caravan is not in use, it is better to store it dry and covered. This extends the lifespan of the caravan. If the caravan is left outside for a long time, it can sustain damage. For example, the sun can dry out sealing rubbers and moss can form. An alternative to storage can be to put a protective cover over the caravan.
