Have had my shredder for quite a few years ,has been good! But now has stopped and motor buzzes. Stripped it down and can get the motor turning over if I first spin the fan , either direction. Is it the capacitor or something else ??? Any comments gtratefully received

This shredder came from the previous house owner. It appears in a really good condition yet it won't start. Am I missing a trick? I did read through the manual and watched Youtube videos to no avail. Is it worth taking to the repair shop?

Have a Bosch AXT 2200 HP. In principle fully satisfied, but I have a problem. When I turn the switch to the right (chopping), the cutting tool runs to the left. Switching over several times does not help. Only after many attempts does the motor turn to the right. Have had my AXT 2200 HP shredder for many years and it has given good service. Now though it has devloped an unbearable loud whistling sound which stops for while after the cogs have been lubricated, but soon comes back. Any ideas as to what is causing this or is it time to buy a new machine?

my Bosch AXT 25 D quiet shredder has a constant whistling sound. The locking screw is tight. A relay has already been changed, but it whistles again after a while. What am I doing wrong? Or workshop again.

I wish this product had been available in North America. This is the best garden tool I have. Had to purchase from Australia and shipped here. After building a inverter/converter to use this shredder it has worked great for twenty years. I have had to disassemble a couple times to clean and lubricate, but only after it has sat unused for a while.
