Anwendungshinweise

Vor der ersten Benutzung

ACHTUNG:

Zum Entfernen der Schutzschicht an der Heizspirale sollten

Sie das Gerät ca. dreimal ohne Röstgut betreiben.

Wählen Sie dazu die größte Bräunungsstufe.

HINWEIS:

Leichte Rauch- und Geruchsentwicklung ist bei diesem

Vorgang normal. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung.

Netzkabel

Wickeln Sie das benötigte Netzkabel vom Bodenteil ab.

Elektrischer Anschluss

Prüfen Sie, ob die Netzspannung, die Sie benutzen wollen, mit

der des Gerätes übereinstimmt. Die Angaben hierzu nden Sie

auf dem Typenschild.

Bedienung

• Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkon-

takt-Steckdose anschließen.

• Stellen Sie den Bräunungsgrad am Wahlschalter beliebig

von der hellsten Stufe 1 zur dunkelsten Stufe 7. Beginnen

Sie im Zweifelsfall mit einer kleineren Einstellung.

• Brotscheibe(n) in den Toastschlitz einlegen und Schlitten

mit dem Hebel herunterziehen, bis er einrastet.

• Reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht selbst, sondern suchen Sie einen

autorisierten Fachmann auf. Um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden, ein

defektes Netzkabel nur vom Hersteller, unserem Kundendienst oder

einer ähnlich qualizierten Person durch ein gleichwertiges Kabel

ersetzen lassen.

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber und von

Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen

Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt

werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren

Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus

resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder

durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre und älter und

werden beaufsichtigt.

• Kinder, die jünger sind als 8 Jahre, sind von dem Gerät und der

Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.

ACHTUNG:

Dieses Gerät ist nicht dazu bestimmt, bei der Reinigung in Wasser

eingetaucht zu werden. Beachten Sie die Anweisungen, die wir Ihnen

im Kapitel „Reinigung“ dazu geben.

Most toasters work with a heating element. When the toaster is used for a first time, it needs heat up from room temperature. When directly after that more bread is toasted, the heating element is already hot and the bread is toasted faster.
