■ Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and

handheld spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during

operation to prevent injury and/or damage to the mixer.

■ Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after

the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

Return the appliance to an authorized service center for examination,

repair, or adjustment.

■ The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance

manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

■ Do not use outdoors.

■ Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter. Do not let

cord contact hot surfaces including the stove.

■ Remove beaters from mixer before washing.

■ Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

■ Mixing flammable non-food substances may be hazardous.

■ Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.

■ Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the mixer by the cord or yank the

cord to disconnect it from an outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull

to disconnect.

■ Do not attempt to repair the mixer yourself; instead take it to an autho-

rized service center for repair. Call the phone number listed on the

cover of this book for the location of the Service Center nearest you.

■ This product is intended for household use only and not for

commercial or industrial use.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug—one blade is wider than the other. To reduce

the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the

plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a

qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the

plug in any way.

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO

Esta unidad cuenta con un enchufe polarizado que tiene un contacto es más ancho

que el otro. Para reducir el riesgo de un choque eléctrico, este enchufe se ajusta

únicamente a un contacto polarizado. Si el enchufe no se ajusta al tomacorriente,

inviértalo y si aún así no se ajusta, busque la ayuda de un electricista calificado. Por

ningún punto trate de modificar o hacerle cambios al enchufe.

IMPORTANTES MISES EN GARDE

Lorsqu’on utilise un appareil électrique, il faut toujours respecter

présente un problème de fonctionnement, qui est tombé par terre ou

qui est endommagé. Le rapporter au centre de service autorisé de la

région pour le faire examiner, réparer ou régler.

■ L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant

présente des risques d’incendies, de secousses électriques ou de

blessures.

■ Ne pas utiliser l’appareil à l’extérieur.

■ Ne pas laisser pendre le cordon d’une table ou d’un comptoir, ni le

laisser entrer en contact avec une surface chaude, y compris le four.

■ Retirer les fouets de l’appareil avant de les laver.

■ Utiliser l’appareil uniquement aux fins auxquelles il a été prévu.
