IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or control in
water or other liquid.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment. Contact Consumer Support at the toll-free number listed in the
warranty section.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil
or other hot liquids.
Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to off “O”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

This product is for household use only.
POLARIZED PLUG: 2-wire polarized plug appliance
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.
TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
Warning: This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent
removal of the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not
attempt to remove the outer cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Repair should be done only by authorized service personnel.
ELECTRICAL CORD
a) A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding-type 3-wire cord.
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
Note: If the power supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by qualified
personnel or in Latin America by an authorized service center. H
HOW TO USE
This product is for household use only.
Remove all packing materials, any stickers, and the plastic band around the
power plug

BEFORE FIRST USE
Wash griddle in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. DO NOT
IMMERSE THE UNIT IN WATER UNLESS PROBE HAS BEEN REMOVED.
Caution: Probe receptacle must always be completely dry before use.
TO OPERATE
1. Connect the adjustable thermostat and plug the cord into a standard
electrical outlet.
2. Turn the heat setting to the desired temperature. The signal light will
come on to indicate the unit is heating.
3. When the signal light turns off, the griddle has reached the
desired temperature.
4. Signal light will cycle on and off during cooking to maintain the
desired temperature.
Caution: Because some countertop finishes are more sensitive than others,
use care not to place griddle on surfaces where heat may cause a problem.
Caution: Griddle surface is hot during use.
CARE AND CLEANING
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified
service personnel.
1. Unplug, remove probe and allow the unit to COOL completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe probe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
3. Wash griddle in hot, soapy water. DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT IN WATER
UNLESS PROBE HAS BEEN REMOVED.
4. Do not use steel wool pads or other abrasive cleaners on the cooking
surface as they may damage the nonstick coating. To remove cooked-on
food, use a plastic bristle brush or nylon mesh pad.
Tips
1. To avoid damaging the nonstick surface, do not use sharp utensils or cut
food on the cooking surface of the griddle. Use silicone, heat-resistant
rubber or wooden utensils.
2. To keep foods from sticking, you may want to add a small amount of oil to
the cooking surface before each use.

COMO USAR

ANTES DE UTILIZAR EL PRODUCTO POR PRIMERA VEZ
Lave la plancha, con agua caliente enjabonada. Enjuague y seque bien.
Advertencia: El contacto del control de temperatura debe permanecer seco
siempre.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Conecte el termostato ajustable y enchufe el cable a un tomacorriente
estándar.
2. Gire el control al nivel de temperatura deseado. La luz indicadora se
ilumina para indicar que la unidad está calentando.
3. Cuando la luz de señal se apague, la plancha ha alcanzado la
temperatura deseada.
4. La luz se enciende y apaga durante el ciclo de cocción para mantener la
temperatura adecuada.
Precaución: Debido a que el terminado de ciertos mostradores puede
ser afectado más que otros, asegúrese de no colocar la plancha sobre
supreficies susceptibles al calor.
Precaución: La superficie de cocción de la plancha permanece caliente
mientras está en uso.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA

1. Desconecte el aparato de la toma de corriente, retire el control de
temperatura y permita que la plancha se ENFRÍE bien antes de lavarla.
2. Limpie el control de temperatura con un paño humedecido.
3. Lave la plancha con agua caliente enjabonada. Enjuague y seque bien.
NO SUMERJA LA PLANCHA SIN ANTES HABER RETIRADO EL CONTROL
DE TEMPERATURA.
4. No utilice almohadillas de fibras metálicas ni limpiadores abrasivos sobre
la superficie de cocinar para no estropear el acabado antiadherente. Para
remover los alimentos adheridos a la superficie de cocinar de la plancha,
utilice un cepillo de cerdas plásticas o una almohadilla de nailon.
Consejos
1. A fin de no estropear la superficie antiadherente de la plancha, no
se debe emplear utensilios afilados y no se debe cortar los alimentos
directamente sobre la superficie de cocinar. Se recomienda el uso de los
utensilios de silicón, los de goma termoresistente o los de madera.
2. Para evitar que los alimentos se adhieran, se recomienda engrasar o
rociar de aceite de cocinar la superficie de cocinar de la plancha.
