The tires on my bicycle are flat, even though I haven't used my bicycle for a long time, why is that? VerifiedBicycle tires are made of rubber. This a natural product that is prone to drying out. This can happen due to exposure to sunlight or by the passing of long periods of time. A dried out tire can crack or go flat during the first ride.
